I have recently been having great doubts in my religious upbringing. I do belive that certain moral codes must be maintained to have a healthy society. How can this be maintained without religion? In other words, how do you convey your morality to your children/ posterity.

I am a teenager of the 80's, child of the 70's, doesn't make it right, but, I grew up with my dad smoking pot and trying to hide if from me, when I got caught at 16, he said, "what can I say? I do it too and just know that everything you do in life, comes back on you" (his version of Karma, I believe).
My 13yr old knows I smoke, he says he can tell when I'm high, we've tried very hard to hide it from him, but, now that's he's found out he's like a little watch dog, so we hide all the evidence.
I know I"m going to get alot of flack for this question, but, I know I'm not the only parent in this situation, and I think pot is a much better way to relax than alcohol.

I chose WWII POW Camps in Texas for meh History Fair Project and I don't have that many resources, or much correct information. The theme for this year is "Conflict and Compromise," how can my topic relate to that?

I know there are some POW Camps in Texas but websites keep giving me information about German and Japanese camps, or veterans. Does anyone have any information on POW Camps in Texas?

The boy's mother of the "friend" of yesterday's incident of touching, has informed her child that he is no longer allowed to play with this child. It was one incident, the child apologized to both his friend, and child's parent, and now knows what he did was inappropriate. Yet, the mother has banned her child from playing with this boy from now on. Is this unreasonable? Is she being overprotective to immediately assume that this behaviour will occur again?

Hello. I am 17, and female, obviously, since this is a menstrual issue.
I have irregular periods.
However, they are generally not -this- irregular. My last period started on the 13th of June, and ended on the 20th.
It is now October 12th.
I am a virgin, and a lesbian, at that. And unless something that I'm repressing happened, I haven't been raped.
What could be wrong?
Has this happened to anyone before, that is reading this?
What should I do in this situation?
Any information I can get is helpful, thanks.

Every like 2 hours my laptop screen just goes blank except for the mouse then about 30 seconds later it freezes and i have to remove the battery to make the pc shut down now i know its not really wise to take out the battery but its the only way. This has been happening for about a month now and is really annoying now especially when im in teh middle of something important it mainly happens when im using some high graphics thing.

I have windows vista ultimate
1gb ram
256mb gfx card

I've been with this guy before he went to prison and now he's been there for 9 months. I've been waiting on him, he should be out next summer of 2008. My question is do you think that a guy can come out of prison and be faithful? He'll be on probation for about 5 to 10 years he said when he gets out and he said that he's just gonna work take care of his son, from another woman we don't have kids together, I don't have kids at all, and spend the rest with me. What are the odds of a man being faithful when he gets out?

Congress will not even attempt to "defund" the War in Iraq because of the political fallout. Was yesterdays vote on the Armenian Genocide question really an attempt to pis**ff the Turks enough that they would not allow us to use their supply routes and air routes into Iraq to supply our troops, therefore, in essence, forcing our government to pullout of Iraq?

If it was, I think Congress is a bunch of cowardly, sleezeballs!!!

I know Justine is at the top of her game and she keeps winning many titles, but will she be able to defend all of these titles next year? I mean she has won eight already and i don't think next year she will win easily, as there are many great players like "Sharapova,Ivanovic,Kuznetsova,The Williams,etc"who can stop her. Do u agree?

I know I cant and shouldnt force him to eat what he doesnt want, but his health is suffering from his diet, and the last thing I want is our son imitating it, not to mention I am sick of having to either make two meals or have him waste money on fast food while I'm trying to save and cutting corners on my own thing. He wont eat fruit, veggies, potatos, and about half the pasta I try to feed him...the healthies thing I can get him to eat is spagetti, but other then that it is meat and macaroni. Hot dogs, lunch meat...He drinks a lot of juice but that just doesnt make up for it, what can I do?

Oh, and slightly off topic...is there any way to convince him to use a cup?

My ex dumped me for his co-worker and he told me he never coming back that he is in love and when i asked him if he will make this relationship work, he replied we'll see.
I am so hurt and deep down i wish him no bad luck , I am just trying to find some comfort for the moment.
