Why does man belive in God? The bible was written by man many centurys ago, to ensight people to what they belived.
So why was it taken so seriously? It was written so man would be able to take society into there own hands, So they could do everything as they requested and they were never too mean or too demanding. And look where it's gotten us today. And, There are two hundred Messiahs with the same exact backround in Jesus, (Look up egyptian God Horus), So, Would you seriously expect for an outcome like this?
So my real question is, Why would man belive in God if "He" Is so played out?

Love,

Bella

P.s. Sorry if some of my wording is incorrect.

Alright, so here's how the game is played:

You're trying to make as many numbers as possible using 4 4's or less, in an attempt to try to prove an old theory: "You can make any whole number using only four instances of the number four and commonly used mathematical symbols."

So so far, the symbols allowed are:
1. All standard mathematical operators (+ - * /)
2. Factorials (4! = 4*3*2*1)
3. Square roots, arbitrary roots (the index is included in the 4 4's)
4. Repeat signs (denoted with an apostrophe ' or grave accent `, ex. 0.4` = 0.4444444.....)
5. Exponentiation (denoted with a caret ^, 4^4 = 4*4*4*4)
6. Decimals do not require a leading zero. So you could put .4 instead of 0.4.

I'll start:
0 = 4-4
1 = 4/4
2 = sqrt(4)
3 = 4 - 4/4
4 = 4
5 = 4 + 4/4
6 = 4 + sqrt(4)
7 = 4 + 4 - 4/4
8 = 4 + 4
9 = 4 + 4 + 4/4
10 = 4 + 4 + sqrt(4)

And the next person would continue from 11, 12, and so on, and introduce new symbols and explaining them if necessary.

The Wedding Test

My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we
decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me. It
was her beautiful younger sister.

My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight miniskirts,
and generally was bra-less. One day "little" sister called and asked me to
come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and
she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she
couldn't overcome.

She told me that she wanted to make love to me just once before I got
married and committed my life to her sister.

Well, I was in total shock, and couldn't say a word.

She said, "I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last
wild fling, just come up and get me." I was stunned and frozen in shock as I
watched her go up the stairs.

When she reached the top she pulled off her panties and threw them down
the stairs at me. I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline
straight to the front door. I opened the door, and headed straight towards
my car.

Lo and behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping!

With tears in his eyes, my future father-in-law hugged me and said, we
are very happy that you have passed our little test.....we couldn't ask for a
better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family."

And the moral of this story is: Always keep your condoms in your car........

"We need another and a wiser and perhaps a more mystical concept of animals. Remote from universal nature, and living by complicated artifice, man in civilization surveys the creature through the glass of his knowledge and sees thereby a feather magnified and the whole image in distortion. We patronize them for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate of having taken form so far below ourselves. And therein we err, and greatly err. For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth."

Tomcat has recently been citing this study by Scafetta & West which concluded that the Sun may be responsible for as much as 25-35% of the warming from 1980-2000, so I thought it would be worth discussing. Here's the paper:

http://www.fel.duke.edu/~scafetta/pdf/2005GL025539.pdf

Here is Real Climate's take:

http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2006/03/solar-variability-statistics-vs-physics-2nd-round/

"S&W do not present any convincing result that would point to noticeably higher sensitivities to long-term variations. Their higher values are based on unrealistic assumptions. If they would use a more realistic climate transfer sensitivity of 0.11K/Wm-2, or even somewhat higher (0.12 or 0.13) for the long-term, and use trends instead of smooth curve points, they would end up with solar contributions of 10% or less for 1950-2000 and near 0% and about 10% in 1980-2000 using the PMOD and ACRIM data, respectively."

Any thoughts on this?
