I think the one thing about stars is if you star a question, your contacts see that you did if they look on your profile page, which may encourage more people to answer the question. So the more stars a question gets, the more answers it is likely to get.

I just starred things if I like the question or if someone asks too.

Are you referring to Hollywood stars or the stars in the sky?

It is because people find your question intresting, and the star is just away of rewarding you....

Sadly, they're even MORE worthless then the points you get on here...

ALL they are good for is telling other users (ones who are either your fans or contacts) about a question - THAT'S it!

I STILL don't know why people whine and beg to get them... ;);););)

...If you star something...then your contacts can see...youre highlighting Qs you think are good..
