previously i had posted a question regarding this lady getting a whopping 10-14 years in jail for torturing her foster daughter for 11 years. (sticking hypodermic needles in her eyes, smashing her feet with weights, and more... not to mention she runs from the cops...)

now look at this, this guy steals a 52 cent donut and is going to get a minimum of 5 years, and they are hoping to put him away for 30.

Turkey is continually being attacked by Kurdish terrorists and the Turkish government has given the go ahead to use any means to stop them including crossing into Iraq and attacking them. This is what the US has to say on the matter

"If they have a problem, they need to work together to resolve it and I am not sure that unilateral incursions are the way to go, the way to resolve the issue," said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack.

I mean seriously. Unilateral incursions. What about invasions? What do the US call the invasion of Iraq?

Here's the deal. I co-signed on an apartment with my ex, well he got evicted and the apartments filed with a collection agency and filed a judgement against us. I got the judgement deleted off of mine shouldn't the collection agency be gone as well?

My mom gave me an old chest of drawers painted a high gloss black (it almost looks like a piano). The paint is in perfect shape--do anyone know a way I can dull down the gloss without stripping the dresser?
