I am not trying to get ahead of myself, I know that we have to face the Red Sox, they are a good team, but I am just wondering how many people really want the Indians to win the World Series?

i have always been curious about this. but was wondering that what happens to the child if the parents are HIV positive (i say both because if you have sex, then you are more likely than not to contract it). i heard something abotu drugs which would stop the virus passing onto the embryo. is this true? are HIV positive parents doomed to remain childless in fear of inflicting their children with such a disease?

Alright, so I like dolls that come to life, puppets, clowns, etc. I`ve seen all the Chuckie movies, 'Angel' episode of Smile Time and Buffy Episode 'Puppet Show'. Also saw a Twilight Zone episode with the puppet named Willy, Poltergeist with the toy clown, and the Goosebumps episodes with Slappy. Read the short story after the I AM LEGEND story about the hunter figurine that comes to life and possesses the girl even after she shoves it in a stove. Recently seen Dead Silence on dvd and also Doll from Hell (a japanese movie) about a killer doll. So what other Tv shows, Movies, or Books do you suggest?

Why can this be the case, yet when discussing moral issues, many people cannot imagine one moral code being superior to another without appealing to a Supreme Law-Giver?

Seems to me a phase out of the existing Social Security programs, allowing people to invest at least a small portion of their current contributions into their retirement accounts would be a much better option than this ponzi scheme.

Do you think that our country should , at last, strike the camps and the bases of those coward terrorists ?
Those monsters stop the otobus in the roads and kill all the people inside, and they kill our soldiers.
I hate war, but actually our country just can't sit down and watch those crimes forever ...

If US army is in Iraq, as they say that Iraq was a Al Quaeda base, despite of the HUGE DISTANCE ; if Israel army entered and striked Lebanon last year, and they even killed 1500 people ( most of them were civilians !!!! ), because the Hamas had a base there ; so WHY we don't have the right to react too ?
The USA can strike even if the danger is 10 000 km away from NY. And us, can't we just strike, for a MATTER OF DEFENSE, just at our door ???

What's your opinion ?

They talk about cutting down emmissions, but even then the levels are so high that supposedly the ice caps are going to melt within the next hundred years. What then...is there going to be no cold anymore? No winters? Total heat and the world all dried up, most living organisms dying?

Or is this a cyclical thing, something that has happened before and we've survived through it? Would the greenhouse gases then be erased, like starting from scratch?

Do you think we may be able to find a solution that will remove some of the carbon/greenhouse gases from the air?

(you know, like when the characters are being introduced and they're partaking in some kind of activity, but then stop to pose for the camera while their name is plastered under their head or whatever), what kind of thing would YOU be doing?


I'd be petting a white pony, and then would stop to acknowledge the camera by cocking my head to the side slightly, flashing the big cheese, and pullin the ol' double gun point. Ahhhh, I'd be SO money with that kind of intro.

why are the charismatics (i.e. Pentecostal) the only ones that he chooses to knock down / paralize and/ or induce seizures in, as well as causing them to babble incoherently? I have heard some conservative factions credit Satan for this behaviour. I find it confusing. What say you?

I just quit my job in Kansas, I had put in a 2 week notice, and went to part time during the 2 weeks, my boss and i had a meeting and i agreed to come back, part time but at my management status. I returned to work Monday and he had hired a new person to take over the managers position. I called him ( he is out of state) and confronted him. He said "well I thought you wanted to quit" I remeinded him of our conversation and he just acted stupid..ummm ummm. So I told him fine I quit. Do not call my home... and hung up.

I love to snuggle with him and talk to him and show him things in the house and outside but should I be "doing" something with him to encourage his physical/mental development? I'm worried that I'm missing out on a critical learning period by "slacking" on what I'm showing/teaching him.

I put my daughter down after her bottle around 9-10 pm depending and she sleeps for maybe an hour and then she's back up and fights going back down. At night when I give her a bottle , she will fall asleep on my chest after burping her and as soon as I put her in her crib she's wide awake. I am literally getting no sleep. She barely naps during the day so sleeping during the day is out of the question. I have tried the bath and bottle before bed , she doesnt really nap so that's not the issue, I am so tired , I feel sick.

My 15 year old daughter has just come to live with me. She lived with her Dad from age 10 to 15.

Now that I am with her more on a day to day basis, I see that she sleeps a lot. She comes home from school and wants to take a nap.

In my mind, she should first finish all of her schoolwork, take a shower and then watch TV and sleep for the night. I used to tell her, but I now leave her alone.

Is this normal behavior for teenagers? Do they tend to procrastinate doing their homework and sleep for some time?
