Do most girls believe that guys should do all the chasing (ie. setting up dates, calling, texting, etc) when first dating?

No I like to do the chasing myself for one thing, and I think alot of girls do TONS of calling and texting. It's sort of snobbish to wait for him to chase you, and if he's shy your out of luck.

Personally I like to pick my guys not just go with whatever bum is after me.

No, I chased Kris :) We were friends first so it wasn't really all that hard. Just the intial waiting for him to come off the fence was I mean he would flirt back and wouldn't do anything about it til I was about to give up when finally we were coming home on a trip and we were sitting on the bus together and his cousin asked if we were an item and he said yes.

I think I got the ball rolling, since the guy doesn't want to pressure the girl.

He does phone me up now though, and initiates a lot of stuff.

We've been together for 7 months now, and still going strong :)

Maybe, but they are also the ones not really worth chasing except by those who are truely desperate.

its nice to get that kind of attention but i think it goes both ways she can show interest in the guy as well. I dont let him do all of the work.

. . . perhaps its MEN perpetuating the thought . . . us guys LIKE to be the hunters . . .
(although I must admit, sometimes it would be nice to have chick chase after me, for a change!!! LOL - I should be so lucky!!!)

Yes because that's the way it supposed to be for many generations.
