If so, is it worth it, and who do you use? I want to keep track of my credit score, most websites offer it for free, but only for 7-30 days and you still have to give your credit card info.

You can get free copies of your credit report from the 3 credit bureaus at AnnualCreditReport.com. The reports are free but the score costs $6 to $8. There isn't any place to get your score free.

You can monitor your credit by spacing out the free report from each bureau thru the year -- one every 4 months.

If you really want to see your score, go to MyFico.com. It's the most accurate place.

Some people do. But, you don't have to. I got mine a year or so ago and there was no charge. It depends on where you get your credit scores as to whether you pay or not. If you give your credit card number; you know that they are going to use it. I don't give mine out unless I'm buying something at the store or etc.

You will always have to pay for a credit score.

You can, however, receive your credit report for free once a year at annualcreditreport.com.

Assuming you're not buying a house or a car, your credit score is far less meaningful than the actual contents of your report.

Stop obsessing over your credit score. It's immaterial to your wealth journey. Wealthy people don't start out wealth, they start out just like you. They save. They pay only cash. They don't use debt. They don't think that going into debt will do them any good, because it will not.

Think like wealth people and become wealthy. Live on less than you make and don't use plastic for anything.
