When I do crunches, if I go past a certain point, it feels like part of my chest muscle wall is popping up and over a rib (the right one under the right breast). I stop, can put my fingers on it, and if I breathe very shallow it goes away. This has been happening for 2 years. Last time I brought it up my dr at the time said I was too fat for crunches (195 lbs, 5'5") and that it was too bad.
Now, I've lost 20 lbs since then (well, 30, since I gained 10 before losing) and I'm STILL having the problem. What gives? No pain otherwise. Thanks!
