Yes. I think it's cute. It's fun and exciting. It's funnest when we don't know it's coming. It's kinda like a cozy squeeze that makes us feel like we are important or special to the guy. Maybe it's the closeness we feel in the arms of who picks us up. If we aren't really into the guy or aren't close to the guy yet, it doesn't mean much. But if we are, it makes us feel special or like the guy thinks we are cute and adores us. :)

If its just a simple act of flirting and you pick her up and twirl her around once Im sure that'd be fine. but, some girls feel uncomfortable with it if it's for an excess amount of time. Some girls are scared of heights, others have been dropped it all depends on the girl. Just make sure if you choose to do this that it is actually the RIGHT time and not right after an argument or something.

If you're asking about instances while you are having a "light" time to yourselves, then my answer is "YES". But of course, you don't just pick her up and carry above while you are eating. It's what I call timing. Doing things at the right time can really be enjoyable. So go ahead and don't be afraid to do it AS LONG AS YOU THINK IT'S THE RIGHT TIME. Also, make it spontaneous and not scripted.
A little bit of warning also:
If she has more kilograms (weight) than you, then don't do it!

I would have to say that most women don't like to be picked up physically in the air. Women are so self conscience of their weight, that when a guy picks them up it makes them become more apparent of their weight. If you can't pick them up they feel fat, if it is too simple they feel too skinny. I am a married woman and I hate it when my husband picks me up. I hope this helps you out a little bit.

responding to "women like men who are strong and obv if they can be swung around that proves a man is strong, safe, and can provide."
i think that is BULL!!! to me, a man who wants to pick me up and SHOW me all the time how tough they are----is an insecure immature, asshole. I think it is a way to assert dominance and power.
No i am not an angry feminist- but i hate it when men act that way! Be a nice guy who is comfortable in himself to not be the dominant figure all the time-- and you will be loved for you and not because you can protect something.
*please don't say women like it because we are chasing after some idealistic version of our fathers, blah, blah , blah!- totally not true!

i love it usually. depends how happy i am to see him
but usually if i hug him i like being picked up off the floor slightly. not a firemans lift or anything. but a nice tight hug is great. partly cos i like the muscles and the fact that he is a lot stronger than me and theres the dominant feeling. usually i'm a bit of a dominatrix but i like being taken control of sometimes

I'm five feet tall and my husband is six foot five -- when we're both laughing, in the moment and having fun, it's okay. We're just playing and he happens to be able to pick me up. I don't know about women in general however. LOL

I LOVE it. My husband just never does it. He's 6'1 and I'm 5'2, about 120 pounds and 53 years old! I love being lifted off the ground, especially while being kissed. Other men, will naturally do it, when they hug me. It makes me feel "light" and young.

Yes and no. Tiny ladies get tired of big guys carting them around like a sack of potatoes, and they can't do anything about it because they're too small.
The rest of us don't mind, so long as you're big enough to do it without dropping us.
