I'm fed up with the lack of understanding in this matter.
1) Pedophelia is not the problem in the Church. Sine 98% of these reported (yet unproven) cases took place with boys who were early teens, the real problem is homosexuality. So, we cannont solve the problem unless we know what the problem is. Its homosexuality, NOT pedophelia. (it is still bad, but it is not the same.)

2) You would never know about this because the media portrayed it wrongly. You see, the media PROMOTES homosexality as an alternative lifestyle, so they could not say that homosexality was the problem, lest they show themselves as the hypocrites they are. But, pedophelia was guarenteed to arouse anger, and since the media hates the Church, that is how they reported it.

3) However, on the topic of pedophilia: The highest rate of pedophilia crimes happen within families (step-fathers, uncles, etc.). So those who try to connect it with celibacy make a poor case.

We live in a mid terraced house and one of our neighbour's have installed a wood burner.Im all for helping the environment but whenever it is working it usually smokes and often smells.The chimney is not as high as the roof so the wind seems to blow it towards our house and garden.We are getting increasingly frustrated of having to keep windows and doors shut to prevent smoke entering our house.Our 5 year old son also comments on the smell while playing in the garden.
Should we have to put up with it?
Are there any regulations regarding pollution via wood burners?
Should the chimney be higher than the roof by law?
We have not talked to the neighbours yet but any advice would be appreciated, Thanks

well, I lost my job in Feb 2007. I was an admin assistant for a bank.Since then , I have been looking for a job with no luck. I found temp jobs, here and there but with no steady income, my credit has gone down. I found a job in a bank , but after checking my credit , the withdrew thier offer.I found a temp job , 27 miles one way from my house in June .They wont hire me full time coz they dont want to pay benefits.so I get $12 /hr.my husband makes $10/hr . I have had to suspend taxes from my check just to make ends meet. we have two cars , both need payments adding to $750/mth.our insurance has been suspended coz we cant pay for it. we lost health insurance when I lost my job.Today , the bank returned my rent check coz my furniture company made a payment electonically from my checking acc coz I was a few mths behind so all the money for rent is gone.my check for this week$400 is only half the rent.oh , and my tooth has hole & infection but with no insurance , cant go to the dentist

I was married for three years, and have been separated (now divorced) for a year and a half. My ex sent all wedding pictures to me after I moved home from overseas where we were living together. Until now I've had them at the bottom of a box in my closet, as I'm unsure what to do with them. It seems like a shame to throw them out, but at the same time they're pictures of my past - no longer the life I'm living. My boyfriend and I have recently decided to move in together and these pictures make him uncomfortable. (Understandably so.) Unfortunatly after spending 5 years with my ex, there are a lot of "memories" floating around in the form of photographs, some in albums which include close friends and family members. I have no negative feelings towards my ex. I'm not sure what to do. Should I chuck them? Burn them? Give them to family? Any advice would be great - especially if you have experience with this.

As some of you know, I only occationally visit this category, as a repreve to the viciousness of the political bunch.
I do not recall having seen much to bring smiles, smirks, laughter, etc.
i.e. Subject: Some ideas for retired husbands or how to prevent being dragged along on shopping trips.
(First, an introduction, by way of a letter to Mrs. XXXXXXX from a major mass marketer)
Dear Mrs. XXXXXXX,
Over the past 6 months, your husband, Mr. YYYY XXXXXXX , has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this type of behavior and have considered banning the entire family from shopping in any of our stores.
We have documented several incidences, three of our clerks are attending counseling, caused by your husbands activities. (ETC & ETC).
1. On June 3rd, moved a 'wet floor sign to the carpeted area.
2. On June 5th, took a jar of catchup, from the grocery dept, and made a trail, on the floor leading to the restrooms.

Terrell Owens' dropped the pass after the Cowboys got the onside kick. The refs only took two seconds off of the clock for that. It seemed like Tony Romo had more time to throw to TO than 2 seconds. I'm curious did someone on the field have a stop watch to actually say "that play actually only lasted two seconds?" How did they know to take off two seconds off the clock?

I've asked a lot of questions about this girl but I really like her and I'm really stressed and a little depressed. I'm a really nice guy and I have done beyond what a normal person would do to show how someone that they like them. The reason why I'm stressed and a little upset with myself is because I didn't get a job that I kind of needed because I didn't want to ruin my chances with this girl. She works at Ihop and I had a chance to get that job. I currently have a job but I don't work very much which is why I was looking for a second job to pay some bills. I can get by with what I make now but barely. I really like this girl but she said she didn't have any feelings for me yet she makes it seem like we still have a chance to take our friendship to the next level. I know its kind of pathetic but I have never had a girlfriend I think its because I'm really shy. I'm not bad looking btw. I'm 19 years old and she is 18 years old, what should I do?

i mean am not a yankee fan at all am a redsox fan but i dnt think that the guy deserves to be fired.he has done a good job for the years hes been in newyork and hes part of the big reason why the yankees dominated in the 90,s.its not like hes the one out their in the field hitting or pitching!!!
may be instead of wanting to fire the guy,they should make some changes with their players!!!!and not just spend their money on overrated players!!!!

My husband's ex has custody of his 5 year old son. He is supposed to have his son on holidays and school vactions, but she refuses to let him come (she lives in another state). We have a lawyer and have gone to court. The court told her she must let the visitation happen or she would be in contempt, but still she did not let him visit. He has not seen his son in over a year. The last court date we had was in June and finally we have one set for the end of November. Can he ask for custody of his child based on her not following court orders which are based on the best interest of the child? He is also paying a lot of child support plus the cost of the child's travel expense (which she has never returned). She says the only income she has to support herself is child support so she can't get the child here.
