If you listen to any sociologist prattle on for more than a few minutes you will hear about how society is racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. They make up fancy terms and love to use verbose jargon "paradigm", "social construct", "hegemony", and other impressive words.

But what does someone do with a Sociology degree? I mean, other than point the finger of blame at everyone and everything in our proud democratic nation?

Do we really need a whole university department on this? Heck no, we don't! Talk about a useless, worthless department... Sociology takes the cake!

What about the 192 architectural and engineering that have joined http://www.ae911truth.org/ Most of them don't even assert hypothesis they simple did a peer review of the NIST report and found that it failed to give a sound explanation into the collapses of the twin towers and building #7 which was not hit by plan.

Point is these people as well as Charlie sheen and others have very little to gain speaking truth to power. Perhaps those of you who have seen the history channel hit piece and read popular mechanics could do a little research into the questions that have not been answered or answered psychologically rather then scientifically.

Former Chief of NIST's Fire Science Division Calls for Independent Review of World Trade Center Investigation
James Quintiere, Ph.D. “I wish that there would be a peer review of this,” he said, referring to the NIST investigation.

If one says "I support the troops but not the war" is like saying "I support the homeless" but I won't let them live in my home.

Until about a year or so ago I would have considered myself "normal". It all started 5-6 years ago when I stopped driving on the freeway due to panic attacks. I drove on the freeway for many years prior, but had a bad accident in 1995 that involved a semi-truck that totalled out my car.

When I was younger, I remember being a strategic thinker. I was always looking for a better way to do things. I always stood out and was very sharp. I could have done better in school but I let other things occupy my mind (boys and friends). I always had the best intentions but never seemed to get things done. It was that way with school projects or anything. I always ended up half doing things because I was too lazy to apply myself.

Now as an adult, I'm noticing the same patterns. I have a good job. I am married. I am an intelligent individual with lots of potential. I could be doing so much more but I can't seem to focus on one thing long enough. I'm trying to start a side business.

I just got a tattoo on the inside of my wrist on October 3rd, and it's been itching since yesterday, is this normal? I know it's normal to peel, but I don't know about this itching. I have tattoo goo that I have been putting on it, which helps a bit.

That is applied to the Bible is applied to all ancient texts then could they not all be considered fiction since in many instances those texts are the only record of those events?

It is well-know the Egyptians exaggerated in their ancient texts and even did not mention several events because they reflected very negatively on them...(i.e. they lost a war).

The Roman writers exaggerated about the things concerning Rome and it's emperors...

It is that way for many ancient writers, so how reliable are they?

Can we trust what the Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, and other wrote?

Is much of what we consider ancient history actually fiction?
