I have a upper 1100 sq. ft, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, LivR, DinR, needs drywall repair, painted over wallpaper to come down, and painting. Need some plumbing: frozen turn ons. Terrace railing needs staining. About it.

You would be better off to find someone reputable and with good references by asking neighbors or relocation realtors. Relocation realtors usually have sources that they have used to help relocating sellers get their homes in shape in a pinch.
Get their names and ask for references and Never prepay for services.
