I'm 15 years old, and my parents divorced when i was 7. Ever since then, my dad has not exactly been the 'best dad' shall i say. He went to jail for DUI when i was 11-12. Ever since then, he has either had a suspended driver's liscence, been on house arrest or some other form of being in trouble with the law.

I just called him to talk to him and he told me that he got in trouble AGAIN. He was in a fight, after he had a few beers, and then decided to drive home with a suspended liscence from a few years ago. The sheriff pulled him over and now my dad says he thinks he will be on house arrest again and figures that he will end up going to jail.

when he got done telling me this, im practically in tears. i have no idea what i have done to deserve this. i am a straight A student in school, am always kind to everyone (at least i try =] lol) and im an all around good kid.

he always says that he loves me, and will always be there for me...but obviously he cant (continued..)

My neighbor past this morning it is now 8:00 pm. The showing is tomorrow which I plan on attendind. I see the daughter and best friend setting on the front porch. We would always smile, wave and talk when we were on our porches, or when I would take my son for a walk. Should I go over?, or let them be?

The insurance told me I have a $500 deductible, plus I have a citation for $117. I am a broke college student and this is my first accident. The damage was minimal to my car, the airbags came off but the body looks fine. Could it still have something wrong in the interior? I have class early tomorrow morning and I need to drive my car. They are charging me 500 dollars, howeer if the airbags is the only problem, is a ripoff for all that insurance I'd paid. I am very upset.

I've got a dilemma and I'm not sure which way to go, so I'd like to hear some advice from people who've been there.
I hate my job. Hate it. The only benefit is that I work 3 12 hour shifts, and my Mom works 4 10 hour shifts. We've been able to work opposite of each other (we're at the same location, different jobs) so my son doesn't have to go to day care.
Two different positions have come up at my hospital. The pay is roughly the same that I'm making now, only these jobs are both 5 8 hour shifts, no weekends, no holidays, on occasion an evening shift (no nights), mostly days. The problem with that would be that I'd have to either find a babysitter or put my son in day care.
So do I stick it out in a job I hate with convenient hours? Or try something different but put my child in day care 4 days a week (mom would have him the other day while I'm at work)?

I was diagnosed last week as having a urinary tract infection. However, since drinking cranberry juice, the symptoms have cleared up. My doctor has prescribed antibiotics, saying that although there are no symptoms, there still could be remenants of the bacteria in my body. I got a second opinion from another doctor who said that the cranberry juice had cleared the infection, and that I should only take the antibiotics if the symptoms returned. I am reluctant to take the antibiotics. Can anyone offer advice as to my situation?

What do you think of the name Sarah Jeanette?
too old fashioned?
It took forever for my husband and I to finally find a first name we agree on and another eternity (ok, I know thats an exaggeration;) ) to agree on a middle name.

His grandmother's name was Joann and my great grandmother's middle name was Jean, so, since all of them are a derivation of John, we thought it would be a nice homage to both of them.
I also kind of like it because I think Jeannie and S.J. are cute nicknames.
Our last name is Martin if that helps.
If you dont like it, what would you suggest?
(we've already thrown out Ashley, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Jane, Olivia, all K-names, and a few others;) )

Okay, I know I am probably going to get a lot of wackos for this question, but please try to be as serious as possible. The way I see it, is that everyone has psychic abilities, but it is there own choice whether or not to let them grow.

My problem is that I have never really paid attention to my intuition or anything like that, but I have noticed I have the abilities. Lately I have been getting a lot of weird signs though. We just moved into a new house and I think that might be part of it. The other day, I was laying in bed about to fall asleep(This is one of the state of minds where you are most susceptible to these things) and I heard voices, Loud and clear, and it was two men talking, having a casual conversation. No one was in the house and the TV's were all off. This might have been me taping into the otherside, or it could have been astral projection.

Ok. My doc says I have got brinchitis. My nose is very congested, i have got cough and I feel tired. He made me a CVC and it turns out I had a strong infection. BUT I hear that a viral infection is not the same as a bacteria, and ANTIBIOTICS are made to fight bacteria...! HOw are you suppose to cure a viral infection???? What he gave me were ANTIBIOTICS.

A recent Yahoo News report on a defense authorization bill stated the following.

"The House bill has drawn a veto threat from the White House because of provisions insisting the military rely heavily on American-made products and proposed changes to the Pentagon's personnel policies."

Why would the White House veto a buy American clause in such a bill? What's wrong with that?

My 14 mo old baby has multiple food allergies, milk being one of them. Her doctor recommend Silk soy milk. We eventually found some other soy products including yogurt, mac n chreese, and rice cheese. I had always been told that soy is easier to produce, cheaper to produce, better for environment, etc compare to cow products. So why can I buy regular mac n cheese for $0.33 and soy mac n cheese for $1.79? Or can anyone tell me where to buy for cheaper? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Its about a girl who moves to the US from Barbados and she goes to live with relatives during the witch trials and she befriends an old lady who is accused of being a witch. I want to say that she goes to live with the puritans but I can't remember. All I remember is that one of her relatives cannot walk. In the end, the old lady's house gets burned down and the main character has to save her.

Okay, so Im at my schools homecoming dance and one of my friends tells me a girl that is in my class likes me. This came as a shock cause I barely knew who she was. Okay and she likes me but I dont know if I like her back. Shes a cool friend whos always happy when I talk to her and smiles. I wanted to clean my laptop up with recovery disks that I downloaded from Gateway. When it was in it's final stage with install XP it would stop at "Registers Components". I tried this a dozen times with same result.I called Gateway and explained it to them and they told me to buy a new harddrive, which I did. I got the same results. Called Gateway back and they said now it was probably the recovery disks I downloaded from them .So they sent me their recovery disk from the factory and again it would stop at "Registers Components". So NOW I tried my XP OS disk and it loaded just fine except I can not connect to the Internet. I went into Device manager and I don't have the drivers in "Other Devices" there, they have the Yellow Mark next to them. Gateway gave me a link to the drivers, I downloaded them to a flash drive and was able to install 8 of 10. The 2 that I can't get to install is "Ethernet" and "Network". Please Help.Like to solve recovery 1st, If not then the XP issue with Drvrs.
