Seriously They should have the playoffs on espn or fox, freakin Jon Miller And Joe Morgan are like the top rated commentators in baseball, Jon Miller puts so much enthusiasm into his calls, and he always has Joe Morgan by his side to have something really interesting to talk about, the two are a good pair.

ESPN should be the only ones allowed to carry the playoffs. ESPN has enough channels that the last game of the night doesn't have to air so late. The audio on TBS is sub par and the picture quality on Fox is light years behind ESPN HD.
Frank Thomas is a moron, he can't het through one sentence without looking down at his notes and Cal Ripken puts me to sleep.

I will have to agree with you. First of all, I don't think it was wise for TBS to pair Frank Thomas and Cal Ripken Jr - two players who have played their entire career in one league and not the other. No wonder when asked about the National League Teams Frank stutters while trying to read his notes and Cal has a zombie look on his face. I would recommend TBS to pair two baseball players who have played on opposite leagues. How about Craig Biggio and Torri Hunter?

They are awful. What happened to Cal Ripken? Great player, but the guy is a zombie in the studios.
Steve Stone is great, as always.
Too bad the Cubs are stuck with Dick Stockton and Ron Darling. I don't know how Stockton has a job, personally. He mispronounces over half of the names of the players and I know more about sports than he does.

The audio on TBS is god awful. It's difficult to explain what I mean, but say you see one game on either YES or NESN. The stadium noises are fantastic, and rowdy as ever! But, when a game is televised on TBS, the home team could hit a walk-off grand slam and you'd still swear the crowd was equivalent to one at the Masters golf tournament.

I watched the game in HD Monday night. Directv has it in HD, and that i are conscious of it's going to be channel 219 on Comcast cable interior the Chicago marketplace. The Directv HD feed of this game replaced right into a greater suitable image than ESPN ever has too!

Extremely weak! Here in Boston we know our baseball and these guys had no clue. Our local telacasts are much more professional. And did I hear them say that the pitcher should nail Big Papi in the butt? Way over the line! In addition, the production staff just didn't have it together. Jerry Remy, we miss you.

Playoff announcers are usually pretty bad. They usually pick the blandest announcers and you don't get much interesting commentary because they're dumbing it down for people who don't watch much baseball.

annnd how horrible john lackey is at fenway 10 times in a inning
