who comment on bad spelling on here? Do you ever stop to consider that there may be another reason for it, other than just laziness? Do you also ever consider how such comments can hurt the people they are directed towards?

One of my contacts has dyslexia, he constantly has the p*ss taken out of his spelling (although he at least makes the effort to spell phonetically), and is told to use the spell checker, however because of dyslexia, this is of absolutely no use to him. Last night he posted a question on here because he was worried and upset, and needed advice/comfort. The majority of those who answered commented on his bad spelling, and some were extremely rude about it. This made him feel so much worse than he already did.

If you can't understand a question due to bad spelling, then why not just ignore it, and move on to another?

This is the second and final of my History of WWII questions.

Again, I have been told on numerous occasions that despite all the hype, Adolph Hitler was a kind and generous man, tee-total, he loved and adored Women and he Loved children - some of these facts are demonstrated in archive footage of Hitler.

On the other hand, Winston Churchill - the commonly perceived 'hero' of World War Two, was an Alchoholic, he had an inherent dislike of Children, he was a Wife Beater and he suffered from Bipolar Disorder which must have affected many of his decisions - some of which in WWII some could say - went too far.

Are these statements true? I am sure they are as they are so widley pulished but im interested in hearing other peoples views if you have time.

As with all my questions - leave your personal emotions out of it please.

Thanks

By 'somewhere else' I mean a country with few or no Christians. If you are one of those who believes that people who are not 'saved' go to hell and yet you are were born and raised in, say, a muslim family in a country where Islam is the dominant (or only) religion do you think you would be going to hell or do you think that somehow you would have been 'saved for Jesus' anyway - and, if so, how?

The background downloading seems to crowd out the voice connection. Is there a way to set aside a percentage of bandwidth and lock it so that Skype can use it and no other program can touch it? I'm using Windows XP.

Ever think about this? From birth to now, how many different cars have you ridden in? Imports, US, old, new.. there's probably quite a variety!! Just thought it would pique people's curiosity.

My sister has an annual Halloween party and this year's theme is Harry Potter. I am known for my creative costumes, but this one has me stumpted. Typically I prefer not to use anything that hinders my movement or vision or otherwise general comfort level throughout the night. Any good ideas that can be easily put together?

I added my boyfriend as a co-owner to my credit card to help his "not so great" credit. I make all the payments on time and there is never a balance left on the card. Is this really helping his score? If so can anyone give me a clue as to how much it helps him...Thank you.

I just finished my sleeve and I went to the store to buy some bacitracian. Of course, looking for a decent sized tube of bacitracian is almost impossible. I found Bacitracian with moisturizing aloe in it. I was just told by my friend that his tattoo artist said its a no-no to use anything with aloe. Since my tattoo is almost healed now is there any negative side effects I should look out for like a loss of color or scars?????

I am ignorant about history, but there are so many highly intelligent and educated people on here can I ask a question that bugs me -

I have been told on more than one occasion, and I have read in books now and then, that Hitler was aware of the concentration camps for Jews (and Gay's) but he did not know they were 'Death Camps'

I have been told that the 'Death Camps' were conceived and run by the German SS.

Apparently, when Hitler was told the truth about the mass slaughter in these camps, he was horrified and that contributed to his ultimate suicide.

I would appreciate answers from intelligent people with reliable sources - leave emotion out of this please.

Thanks.

I was driving my 1997 Jetta GT at 75mph on the Interstate. All of a sudden, it downshifted into the lowest gear possible. Needless to say, the engine RPM's redlined and the car slowed down quickly. I got off the road and smelled transmission fluid. I saw a small amount under the car on the pavement. I tried to put the car in "D". It would not move but I could hear some "clunking noises" like it was trying to go into gear. Reverse was the same way.
Has anyone heard of this type of problem before? I appreciate any comments or suggestions...
Thank you, Victoria
