By 'somewhere else' I mean a country with few or no Christians. If you are one of those who believes that people who are not 'saved' go to hell and yet you are were born and raised in, say, a muslim family in a country where Islam is the dominant (or only) religion do you think you would be going to hell or do you think that somehow you would have been 'saved for Jesus' anyway - and, if so, how?

tracy211968 perhaps I need to clarify. If you are raised in a country with few Christians and where Christian theology is not taught anywhere, how do you think you would have found Jesus? Other responders have attempted to address this.

Zenas Walter your response makes no sense. If you believe the doctrine that all those who are not saved are going to hell, doesn't this mean that if you yourself would be going to hell if you happened to have been born in a place where there was nobody to tell you about Jesus? Or do you think that whatever people believe comes true, even if those beliefs are conflicting?

In truth, I don't think anyone can say yes to this, because the way of life is so different. many religions are forced on, not giving you the chance to even think of any other, to even suggest it could mean your death.
Good question

God is a merciful.
No matter where you are and wherever you may be born God hand is not too short to reach you or any other person for that matter.

Regardless of religion, there are people that you and I know that are good people living all around us and all over the world sometimes some are christian, some muslims and even some freelance thinkers yet they have good moral standard and the heart to do good no matter what.

Now to your question. Religion cannot take you to heaven, it is your believe, your actions, your inactions, your inner will to live the life devoid of blame, guilt and evil that will be the passport to heaven through His grace.

Once you have heard the news that Jesus saves, then you have no excuse that you have not been told. If you are conscious of the fact that, Jesus died for you and I and you want to leave your life of sins without been forced or convinced by anybody. God will reach you wherever you are, it is a personal experience you will be amazed to have.

If you believe, go on your knees at the corner of your room, open up to God everything that you've done and which you want forgiveness for and with a promise never to return to them again. Then see what will happen after.

In this world, you know that criminals exists but once arrested, they are taken to court, if found guilty they are sentenced to improsionment or even death sentence. They will loose their freedom but you continue to enjoy yours. Definately in heaven, sinners and non sinners cannot live in the same place. There must be a difference, either heaven or hell no matter what they call it. Avoid sin by all means.

Good morning dear, you can be saved anywhere you are. Even if you have grow up in a muslim family. Only what you have to do is to invite Jesus Christ in your heart by confessing with your mouth that he is your Lord and personal savior, that He is the son of God and that He have did for you and saved you by His blood. That through Him you have been forgiven from your past and your sins and that you are ready to follow Him in all you are doing. You except the Holy Spirit as your comforter and teacher and look for a Living Church in your area, if you do not find one you can go to the internet at www.tbc.org. There you can follow the teaching of Christ through some powerful ministries.

Yes there is no other way to excape hell than to give your life to Jesus Christ and follow his foodsteps. Amen.

God bless you.

I am thankful that even though I was born in a country where the majority of the population is Christian (last time i checked anyway) I never was, and never will be.

But you know how it is in Christian thinking for us Jews. They love us to pieces but of course that's all dependent on the concept that in the end our religion will be completely wiped out and we will all be on bended knee to their man/god.

What arrogance they have.

So that's how those of us who are Jewish are to be "saved for Jesus" according to the Christians, to answer your question.

Of course since their entire foundations are based on ancient paganism rather than Judaism, including a virgin human sacrifice for sin messiah figure, gods impregnating virgins, etc. , what they believe is completely irrelevant to us.

The answer is yes ... and the last part of your question makes no sence since other people of other religions do not think that they are going to hell (as they believe they are right)

yes sure
Jesus answered, "(A)My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not [a]of this realm." John 18:36

Maybe some time in the colonial 1700's where they hung you for being something else. But other than that, no. I'm a proud agnostic.

Yes, I am convinced that some way, some how, God would have touched my life, and He would give me the capacity to respond. Of that I am totally sure.
