My friend who drives his big old Lincoln say that gasoline will be around for another 200-300 years and that environmentalists are just spreading lies, now i think there is maybe 50-75 years worth but when i tell him that in 50-75 years we will be back to the horse and buggy days he laughs at me, so who is more right him or me?

My bf and I have discussed marriage and know we both want it asap. I know from a trusted source that he was planning on proposing at Xmas but isn’t now as he cant afford to buy me a ring. I am not supposed to know this as he apparently wants it to be a surprise but I am not supposed to know anything about this, a mutual friend let it slip to me as she knows how much I wanted it and thought he never would. Anyway the thing is I don’t need a ring that costs alot its what it symbolises that’s whats important to me. I wouldn’t care less if he only spent a tenner on it or got it out of a lucky bag. We are going to give eachother a figure that we cant go over for buying xmas presents this year so how do I suggest that he could get me a cheap ring and I would love it just as much if not more without him knowing I know what he wanted to get me. Im not sure how to drop the hint without giving the game away.

What is your definition of hope?
For example: Have you ever said
"I hope" my children will be ok
"I hope" my children grow up happy and healthy
"I hope" I get this job or "I hope" I get that job

"I hope"
"I hope"

If you're honest, you know you have said the words "I hope"
If you can get the things on your own or make these things happen on your own, why say the words "I hope"
Who are you hoping to?
I know what hope is....hoping is a form of pray whether you realize it or not. So why say "I hope" if you don't believe?

I don't want any rude and nasty comments. If you're going to be rude and nasty, don't answer.

I look and bought many tickets from 2 companies for the last 2 months for a future travel. Tonight, neither allows me to make booking. I have Zone Alarm controling my virus, spyware and so on... Ailiners: AirAsia.com and Tigerairways.com

I'm just curious if others shared a similar observation concerning answers given on the MA section. It seems that there are some philosophical differences that tend to have become degrading toward other people's style and schools. Although many people take martial arts for differing reasons, and certainly, there are good and bad schools out there, it seems that many online wish to bash other's MA training. Isn't the whole point of martial training for the betterment of self, or have we allowed ourselves to degenerate into common thugs? If so, what is the cause of this?

I help my mom clean rooms at our family owned motel once a week but i answer the door all day long and night and do all the laundry also i make dinner for the family about 5-6 times a week and do most the house cleaning out of 7 people in home . I mean we all do dishes but i'm the one generally that vacuums wipes everything down dusts . haha you wouldn't think this if u seen my room but i try to keep a handle on things but people are putting off signals that im being selfish and lazy how do you all feel please be honest honesty is a virtual and sometimes truth from others is the best medicine to us as individuals thanks .

Aggression. A word that has been really synonymous with the Aussies, the Poms and the South Africans. They play mind games with the opposition so as to get someone out and win the game. Nothing is wrong with that.

But as soon as the Indian team does that, it becomes a big fuss. Everyone condemns the behaviour of the Indian players only coz they sledged the bullies successfully, got them out and won the game. Nel hurls abuses at every 2nd batsman and gets away 9/10 times. Brett Lee mumbles and swears and gets away. McGrath asks Sarwan about how Lara's d*ck tastes and gets away. Ponting, Gilly argue with the umpire and don't even get reported. Freddie removes his shirt at Mumbai in 99 and no one even discusses about it.
