Oh, gosh. Well, for starters, I'm sitting in a nice comfy chair in a warm house -- not sitting in the dirt letting the wind and rain have their way with me. I'm pretty happy about that!

science has always pushed man's potential to communicate. practically a social being/animal, man's happiness and comfort lies heavily on the affirmation and in relation to "others"
science has helped man move closer to one another for example cellphones and travelling progress has made the world a smaller place

we can get a conversation going in a drop of a hat no more waiting to deliver the news so and so is sick we can find that information in a hearbeat i.e talking on the phone and many more.
