Aggression. A word that has been really synonymous with the Aussies, the Poms and the South Africans. They play mind games with the opposition so as to get someone out and win the game. Nothing is wrong with that.

But as soon as the Indian team does that, it becomes a big fuss. Everyone condemns the behaviour of the Indian players only coz they sledged the bullies successfully, got them out and won the game. There will be media all over Aus, SA, Eng complaining about Indians' sledging and they opine that Indians must behave.

Ok, we must. But why not YOU? Stuart Broad sledges Ganguly and no one even talks about it. Poms throw jelly-beans and no one is even fined !!! Nel hurls abuses at every 2nd batsman and gets away 9/10 times. Brett Lee mumbles and swears and gets away. McGrath asks Sarwan about how Lara's d*ck tastes and gets away. Ponting, Gilly argue with the umpire and don't even get reported. Freddie removes his shirt at Mumbai in 99 and no one even discusses about it.

There have been hell lotsa incidents like these when these teams have been shielded by the ICC, the umps and the match ref alike. But when it comes to India, its extremely different.

Ganguly resorts to a tit-for-tat approach against the Aussies, particularly S.Waugh. And what happens? Aussies tag him as the "Bad boy of cricket". So shouldn't everone in the Aussie team be "Bay boys" coz they too do the same stuff? Ganguly removes his shirt at Lords like Freddie did at Mumbai and the Poms tag this incident as an insult to cricket. So where was the insult gone when Freddie did the same thing in India? Sreesanth gives word-for-word back to the opposition and what happens? He is branded as a "brat showing bad behaviour" and is fined in every 4th mach he plays. So where does everyone go when Nel, Flintoff, Symonds, Lee, Ponting, McGrath, Hogg, Hayden and moreso the complete Aussie team do the same thing and get away every fcukin time?

Why? Why such double standards?

If you're talking about double standards, you should consider how the Asian teams are getting away with murder (not literally). The jelly-bean thing was a mistake but the Indian's behaviour during the England ODIs was disgusting but they couldn't be charged because that would be 'rascism'! Stuart Broad doesn't say anything on the field, by the way.
Freddie removing his shirt, well nobody did anything to Ganguly either!
It's reverse-rascism all the way now. And the badly-behaved Asians are winning because they have the money!
Oh, and lets not forget that the Australians, English, New Zealanders and South Africans never think twice about congratulating opposition players (from Asia!) when they reach goals. How many Indians do that??? Yuvraj Singh did it for the first time the other day.
Do your homework and stop being racially biased!

Well, there is nothing wrong with the agression from Indians. Indians are traditionally passive on the field, and people get surprised when an Indian is agressive. This happens with lots of Aussies and South Africans.

Let me tell you what, if the aussies are complaining that Sreesanth is sleding a lot, then you will have to understand that Aussies are also playing a game to dent Sreesanth's attitude by the press. Sreesanth does it on field, and the aussies do it even off the field, in the press, etc, etc... Agression is every where. I dont think ICC should intervene players to show their emotions. ICC should intervene only when it gets physical.

We normally see wrestling in football and ice hockey. In Cricket, its just words! That adds spice to the game! I dont think there is anything to do in this, except in the case that it gets physical.

Losers will always be jealous of the 'GROWING NATION' - India

Bro Rocky tell me one thing, has any intelligent cricket expert said anything against India & Indian players? No

Who cares about the losers in this section? They were the same people which were saying that India will be knocked out in the first round of the twenty20 championship. What happened? Our team knocked their teeth out.

Sreesanth is India's answer to the aggressive players of other teams. Symonds fear Sreesanth.

Sreesanth has my support atleast. He is the find of the decade in my eyes.

Indian players are playing the game the way it should be played. They aren't bowling any beamer at the batsmen. They are just looking into the eyes of batsmen & just try to be aggressive in their body language

There is no denying in the fact that umpires & match refs are biased against India. Yes, it's good to see Indians staring or retorting back, when they are provoked. But there is no point when you try to be aggressive, after conceding lot of runs and your team in bad position.

There is nothing wrong but see, sportmanship is also an important factor of any game. See, they can do all types of action they want but they should not do it all infront of the OUT player. That's more like not being respectfull. If Australia does the same type of actions with us, they would def. weaken our minds.

Weak minds leads to weak play and they Public agression leads to shoes. You know what I mean!

nothing wrong with indias agressiveness. im sure the aussies are enjoying the banter. as an aussie i couldn't care less, bring it on.
although in Sreesnaths case he looks more like a nutter than anything else. you can have aggression, but it has to be controlled or else you look like an idiot.

Hello
There's nothing wrong if Indians are aggresive like Sreesanth.
But there should not be any pushing like Sreesanth pushed Michael Vaughan & the aggresiveness should not spoil our game as Sreesanth was bowling wayward in the 2nd India & Australia match.

I hope you agree with my answer.
