Science is not a religion, therefore you can't "believe" in it, and I as a Christian am not going to assume that I am omnipotent and that I understand everything that the bible says, EVER. So why this black and white debate, like it's a religion war? How about just trying to find out, it's a very interesting subject!

Hey everyone! I'm a little over 5 weeks pregnant and I have an appt in 4 weeks to see my Dr. They didn't feel any need to see me before then. I have never been on any birth control! I am very healthy, active etc... My question is my husband is protective and a lady he works with told him I should go the dr. to have them run some test to see if all my hormone levels are okay. Is this a common thing to do?
I have always!! been regular on my cycle. I don't think I have any problems with hormone. What do you think?

I've been watching the movie, An Inconvient Truth. While I think Mr. Gore presents some scientific evidence to suggest that global warming is connected to human activity, I am confused as to why he includes material that is not at all relevant to the topic.

Is he still bitter about the 2000 presidential election results? What about the situation with his son at age 6?

Yes, I am a skeptic about much of this global warming talk. I am watching the movie to become more educated about the different views. I would like to know where he obtained the scientific evidence that is presented in the film.

Given who is presenting this material, I think that Mr. Gore is using this as a political platform. For those of you who have watched the film, what do you think?

Anyone been on an ssri then switched to another.
and have the other one work better?
Why was it better?
Less side effects?

I'm 38 and female. I went to my gp last week with pain in my lower left pelvic area and they said I had a urinary tract infection.

Now a week later my symptoms aren't any better and the pain is pretty much my lower left side and up into my left side where the waist of your pants sit and also lower back pain on the left side. Pain is worse while sitting.

Now I'm afraid because the dr said he wanted me to come back in today - it could be a kidney stone. I've heard those are just horribly painful. While I'm certainly uncomfortable, it's not excruciating.

If you've had a kidney stone - does this sound like the symptoms you had?

I am about to turn 20 but between the ages 10 and 14 i was sexually abused by my step father. my mother never knew or turned a blind eye. He never raped me, but once or twice a week would proceed to give me a "back rub" that would end up in my pants. i never protested, never told anyone who could help, or did anything. i feel ashamed, mostly. my body responed even though i knew it was wrong. does that mean i liked it, therefor it wasnt really abuse? i also feel ashamed that it wasnt me who told, it was my sister. my mother didnt believe us when she found out. she thought it was some ploy to get our father and her back together. i dont really have a question, i would like to see comments or throughts or some sort of connection with other people like me.

I bought a home and my name is on the "note" and "title". My boyfriend of 2 years is living with me. He pays half the bills and I'm wondering if he'll have any interest or ownership in the property if we ever split up? Also, what type of case will he have? My periods are not regurlar, so if I ever where to be pregnant I would not know as my periods dont come every 28 days.
I had been sexual active with out any form of contriception, for around 5 months with the same person.
Few weeks later lying in bed I had adominal cramps, and as I went to stand up, I had a great rush of blood. This blood was a unusral colour and it had large dark clumps in it. I only bled for a short time. I didnt suspect that I could be pregnant so I didnt before hand take a test. I am not sure whether or not this was my period or not can any one help me?
