I don't think Al Gore would have had the stones to invade Iraq. He would have probably done the same as Clinton did,lob an odd cruise missile on a milk factory every now and then, and hope the problem goes away.

The arguments Bush used for invading Iraq were invalid
I don't see how Gore would have done the same thing
but had he, I can tell you I'm no fan of the guy
he wouldn't have gotten re-elected in 2004, I bet

If he had done it and given the same reasons as Bush, you can be sure he would not have been reelected. His supporters would have been furious with him for starting a war for no valid reason. The media probably would have been all over him a lot sooner than they turned on Bush, if the reaction to Monicagate is any indication.

I find it funny that the Dems want to pull out of Iraq because of the death rate. Maybe we should pull out of California because the death rate there is higher.
