Few weeks later lying in bed I had adominal cramps, and as I went to stand up, I had a great rush of blood. This blood was a unusral colour and it had large dark clumps in it. I only bled for a short time. I didnt suspect that I could be pregnant so I didnt before hand take a test. I am not sure whether or not this was my period or not can any one help me?

Well since you didn't assume you wasn't pregnant, you can't say for sure. I do know that you can ovulate and still not have your period. It's happened to me before. But if it was a pretty good gush of blood with a good bit of clots, or tissue. I'd probably get checked at your OB/GYN. Just to be on the safe side, and make sure your completely "cleaned out." If need be, they will do a D & C. But it could have just also been a heavy period ... I'd get checked, just incase ...
Good Luck !

I had a miscarriage, after which a child now not lengthy after, then an extra miscarriage. Considering I used to be informed I'd in no way get pregnant, I regarded that one a blessing. Two years later I pass pregnant once more, and we had fun and suggestion we might in no way get pregnant once more. Then #three used to be born 18 months after #two...WOW! Then #four used to be 15 months after #three, then 18 months later #five....we began considering it used to be a few form of cosmic comic story! #6 used to be born 2 years after #five, and quantity seven (we name her seven of 7) used to be born 2 years after #6. My SIL additionally confronted a few miscarriages, 4 or 5 I suppose, she stopped telling us after a whilst. She bought pregnant approximately ten years in the past despite the fact that, after which popped out FIVE in ten years. So we are each rather joyful with our little advantages. I'm sorry in your loss, I have no idea what else to let you know besides to maintain your hopes up. I in no way suggestion I'd be so blessed, and I keep in mind the ones days of dread, each and every month of praying. We have been whole nuts for the duration of our pregnancies, primarily due to the fact that all of our miscarriages have been after 12 weeks...a long way into the trimester of 'defense'.

That's a very difficult one. Was the pain like normal period cramps? Or were they really intense? It might have been but then it might not have been. Has it been a very difficult month, i.e. stressed, etc? Did you have any other pregnancy symptoms before this happened? Maybe next time you could take a test earlier if you're trying to conceive.

sounds likely that it was..
Are you trying to get pregnant? If so, you need to start charting so you'll know what your cycle is doing & whether or not you are ovulating. Go to fertilityfriend.com & try the free trial for a while & see what you think. If you're not TTC, for heaven's sake use some protection...
If you think you miscarried, you to your DR and have a vaginal ultrasound done so they can make sure the uterine lining is back to it's regular thickness & won't cause a problem in cycles or conceiving!

It is possible that you had a miscarriage. Many women have miscarriages before they even know they are pregnant. If this happens again you can actually take a pregnancy test that day. The pregnancy hormones would still be present for a couple of days.

You should go see a doctor….. That happened to my sister and it happened to be a false pregnancy… This means that the sack was formed but there was no baby in there.
It doesn’t happen very often but it has to both of my sisters…. Go get a blood test from your family doctor.
