If you believe God has a great Plan - that everything that happens for good or bad, is in accordance with God's Plan, what good does it do to pray asking for God to grant you what you wish for? I mean, if God won't intervene on behalf of the millions of starving people in the world praying for food on a daily basis, why would He disrupt His grand Plan so your boyfriend will get back with you or whatever?

If you truly believe there is a Divine Plan, why do you think Hail Marys, light candles, or bended knees will make Him alter it?

Not exam qualificatiosn necesarily but anything. They couldn't have just gotten up and said look at us we're important we have earned the right to tell people what not to wear etc. So what do they have that noone else has to give them that right?

p.s it's nothing personal i'm just curious how people get power

Basically, I'm having a momentary elapse, and need to know, why:

when y = k (k is a constant, e.g 1, 4, 2849438918503..e.c.t)

when differentiate it,

why is it that y' = 0.

Please explain it to me in words. Because if you pull down the power, its to the power of 0, and that should just turn it into a 1 rite xD?

Liberals have no regards for spending, they believe they can feel their way out of problems whereas conservatives empower people to be great. Liberals also preach at the alter of government. They want higher taxes for people who pay 50% of them already. These people want to control your life and think they always know what is best for you. I mean look at their heroes, Bill Clinton, LBJ, and FDR. No one says I want my presidency to model jimmy carter's. Liberals are weak on defense, they embolden the enemy and strip people of freedom.

My last pap smear from April came back abnormal and I tested positive for HPV. I'm going back to have a second test done next friday as a 6 month follow up. I am so nervous. HPV causes cancer and because my pap test was abnormal does that mean I'm going to get cancer????

There was a man who worked for the Post Office whose job it was to process all the mail that had illegible addresses.
One day just before Christmas, a letter landed on his desk, simply addressed in shaky handwriting to "God".
With no other clue on the envelope, he opened the letter and read, "Dear God, I am an 83 year old widow living on the State pension. Yesterday someone stole my purse. It had £100 in it, which was all the money I had in the world and no pension due until after Christmas.
Next week is Christmas and I had invited two of my friends over for Xmas dinner. Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with. I have no family to turn to, and you are my only hope. God; can you please help me?"
The postal worker was really touched, and put a copy of the letter up on the Staff Notice board, at the main sorting office where he worked.
The letter touched the other postmen and they all dug into their pockets and had a whip round. Between them they raised £96.
Using an official franked Post Office envelope, they sent the cash on to the old lady, and for the rest of the day, all the workers felt a warm glow thinking of the nice thing they had done.
Christmas came and went. A few days later, another letter simply addressed to "God" landed in the Sorting Office. Many of the postmen gathered around while the letter was opened.
It read, "Dear God, How can I ever thank you enough for what you did for me? Because of your generosity, I was able to provide a lovely dinner for my friends. We had a very nice day, and I told my friends of your wonderful gift - in fact we haven't gotten over it and our Vicar is beside himself with joy.
By the way, there was £4 missing. I think it must have been those thieving b*@!"rds at the Post Office."

I had this dream last night that I somehow got this foot disease that my doctor told me was going to take my life in about ten days. It started out looking like athletes foot and then the skin started peeling and my foot turned yellow like a bad infection with patchy brown spots. Later my foot started looking like mold and became really spongy like. I havn't ever really heard of anything real like this but it just tripped me out knowing what it's like to know I was going to die in just a few days. The doctor had me in a wheelchair. I told my friends and family that I was going to die but none of them really acted like they cared. It was just this horrible feeling knowing that all your hopes and dreams in life would never happen and all the things I wanted to do in life would never happen. So it really got me thinking about how much time on earth we waste fighting about stupid stuff. As a 23 year old male I have never had a dream like this before. What do you think it means???

I have been having weird dreams about being kidnapped . They are so real. The other day I was walking out of the bathroom and I heard a voice calling out my name. It was the voice from my dream.
