that depends on the guy and the girl. A friend is a friend no matter guy or girl. But some people (more guys than girls) will always look at the opposite sex as a possible lover. Those people can;t really ever have just a "friend" with out some underlying sexual tension - even if it is only one sided. I am a guy and I have a lot of female friends, that are just friends, but I will admit there is still some vibes between a few. Your heart will tell you what it wants.

yes i think a guy and a gal can be friends and I think it is healthy because you are helping each other that is all i am saying on the subject

It's really hard to do after there's a relationship, because you both know more about each other than you'd care to know as friends, and if you told her that after breaking up, I wouldn't honestly want to be your friend because "just friends" is an easy way out... and if that relationship was sexual than it will be kinda awkward for both of you to "hang out" because you're both wondering what the other thinks about you sexually.
if there was never a relationship other than friendship then it is possible to just be friends...as long as you aren't pushy about things, or pressuring her physically or mentally to do things with you. Even if its just to go eat pizza. Yes it is possible to just be friends, but usually a relationship will bloom from friendship because one or both may realize that they are the person you've been looking for.

Very much so. There are a couple guys that I look to like he's my brother. I grew up with my friend Brian and we're still JUST friends and nothing more. My son looks up to him as an "uncle". My best friend Trevor and I are JUST friends and always have been,
So, yes. It's very possible.

Yes, i have been best friends with my guy friend since i was 16 and i'm 28. We talk like once a month but i know he is always there is i need something and vice versa. He is in a relationship and i've been thru them over the years. Its nice to get a guys opinion too.

Guys and gals have totally different perspectives on relationships. Guys want to have sexual relations with girl they can
Girls tend to use guy friends for perks.. like money, gifts, dinners, etc.

Of course they can. I'm a woman and I feel that women are too MEAN at times. From childhood to adulthood. I've always had better male friends than female friends.

Highly unlikely. Sex always ends up in the pic, unless your morals are like that of a monk or youjust have the utmost respect for that person OR you look at them as a brother or sister

well...friends only with not other feelings, i'd say yes since i've been good friends with this one girl since kindergarten. We've never had those special feelings, just friend feelings.
