I had this dream last night that I somehow got this foot disease that my doctor told me was going to take my life in about ten days. It started out looking like athletes foot and then the skin started peeling and my foot turned yellow like a bad infection with patchy brown spots. Later my foot started looking like mold and became really spongy like. I havn't ever really heard of anything real like this but it just tripped me out knowing what it's like to know I was going to die in just a few days. The doctor had me in a wheelchair. I told my friends and family that I was going to die but none of them really acted like they cared. It was just this horrible feeling knowing that all your hopes and dreams in life would never happen and all the things I wanted to do in life would never happen. So it really got me thinking about how much time on earth we waste fighting about stupid stuff. As a 23 year old male I have never had a dream like this before. What do you think it means???

I think that your subconscious is trying to tell you that you are afraid of living, only here dying represents living - I know, it's bizarre, but our minds are such complicated and topsy-turvy creations that the absolute opposite of something can be what's really meant.

Your feet should be on the ground, but in your dream there's something wrong with them - are you someone who doesn't connect so well with reality? Or what you perceive with reality? I like the way you say that your dream got you thinking ... sometimes our subconscious minds are so much better clued into what's happening that we are, so your dream may in fact be reinforcing something that's lurking just on the limits of your awareness. Go with this.

To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.

Hmmm....................interesting dream. Usually the feet or foot represents how on puts certain principles, morals, or ideas into action in his life whether good or bad. By having a foot disease it usually means your decision making is contaminated or disease. And according to your dream it is getting worse. Doctor is usually in reference to God. Being in a wheel chair represents your walk or ability to make progress in life is hindered. So, the dream has more to do with the choices that you are making in life that will cause your downfall.

I agree with the first answer. It seems like it might have been a blessing, to help you realize that if you're going to do something with your life you should probably do it now ;-)

it is meant to do exactly that. you have something in your life heavily distracting you from living your life. It was a warning, not of disease, but of stagnation in your life. Look for enrichment. seek a new point of view.
