My IPOD has suddenly stopped working? I don't understand why? It doesn't look broken? But I'm actually getting nothing from it? It wont charge or turn on?

First, try reseting it. Put the Hold button on the Hold option and then press and hold the middle circle button along with the Menu button down for 5 seconds. That should reset your iPod.
If that doesn't work take it to your local Apple store and ask someone at the Genius Bar. They should be able to help you out.

The best thing to do in your situation is to go to Apple and demand a refund for the product due to a lack of quality.

Reset your iPod. Go to apple.com and look it up in the iPod section.

hold down the middle button and the play button for like 5 seconds....that restarts it.

change your usb cable its possible it broke inside the plastic shielding.
