Everytime I sit on the cushion, the corner falls underneath the spring. I tried using duct tape, but it didn't work is there any other way to fix it?

Leave the back on the entertainment center, it's part of the support system and keeps the system from "racking" to the side. But he's right, any thin wood like plywood or particle board should be fine. Cut to fit the whole area under the cushion(s).

I think I would try a piece of cardboard,, double or triple it before I would put any wood under my cushion..it will give more than wood...wood could rip the fabric in other places.once the fabric has been ripped there's not allot you can do unless you take the furniture apart and reline it. I used cardboard on my futon couch ..to keep the cushion from slipping between the bars,,works great!

try getting a board or plywood to place under your cushion!

even the back of an entertainment center should work just something flat!
