Ok so I've been hearing i have to take a placement test in my community college ...because i am going to take biology/chemistry! I heard their is no pass or fail ...but I'm so confused ...I thought it would only take me 2 years to get my associates degree in those studys ???? and if i do start off in a lower level it will take longer right?????? after i receive my Associates degree i want to transfer to a University to take pre-med's ....who long do you think it will take me to get their??????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

With all the time spent on all the protests and that idiot rev.al running around yammering ,all the protestors around the country had to do was each put a dollar in a hat and the poor kid would have been out of jail long ago. They have stated they want Israel gone. But Israel has nuclear weapons and better delivery systems as well as a vast superiority in conventional forces. It would be suicide if Iran attacked first. No country or empire in the history of the world has ever actually engaged in actions that would ensure all of its population would die in a nuclear holocaust. Assured destruction kept the Americans and the Soviets peaceful except for small proxy wars(Vietnam & Afghanistan) any Iranian leader who successfully put the hurt on Israel would instantly become a legend and hero in the eyes of the Iranian population and surrounding Arab world. But only if there were Iranians around to create and maintain legends. Israel's response would wipe Iran and their population off the map . There would be no one to celebrate or declare victory on the Israelis. Do you think these threats are for real or are they just posturing to placate their local populations because they really can't do anything.

One of my best friends got married in July. My girlfriend and I gave him, an EXTREMELY GENEROUS gift. I didn't do it to outshine anyone else, but we were close with him and his fiance. The gift was almost too generous. It is now the end of September and I havent heard from him since. We have received no thank you card, and all of my friends have received one, I used to talk to him everyday, now he disappeared, How do I approach this?

I have been divorced for a little while and I'm engadged. I have 2 daughters from the first marriage a 2 month old (we divorced while I was pregnat with her) and a 20 (almost 21) month old. My ex gets to see our daughters once a week but he doesn't want those rights. (He doesn't love the kids at all. He told me.)

My fiance wants to adopt my two daughters so we can be one big family (Me, my daughters, him and his 5 kids). My 20 month old really loves my fiance and my 2 month old is always happy around him. I would love for him to adopt my kids.

Now, do we have to consult my ex about this even if he doesn't want custody over them?I know where he is. We both have never done this before and we want to do this as leagally as possible. My ex's name is on both of their birth certifacates (he's on my 2 month old's because the divorce wasn't final until a week after she was born and he was there to help deliver and he's the birth father). Any help would be appreciated.

As a Christian I am appauled that a leader in the ministry had a million dollar wedding using money from the ministry. That money could have been better spent on the needy. I am ashamed of these people who are using the ministry to gain wealth. With this type of garbage going on in the Christian leadership I am not surprised that the church in America is luke warm.

was once divorced? I was listening to a Christian radio program and a man who had been in prison was talking about how he is a head pastor of a church now. I don't see that as a problem but I find it odd. Now you see a pastor of a church that was once divorced, no matter what his current marital status is now, and he is concidered SCRIPTURALLY WRONG? Why is that? Yes I know what the Bible says. So would you rather have an ex prisoner as your pastor or a man that had 1 divorce?

Can't a dog be born "off" or have some kind of imbalance like some humans that makes it aggressive or very difficult to train to be trustworthy in ALL situations????
It seems to be the "PC" thing to blame the owners, the breeder, or human-kind in general every time there is a dog attack or a dog that is labeled "aggressive".
Is it impossible that it could be that dog. It is not also possible that some breeds are natuarally more aggressive than others?

My daughter aged 23 has learning difficulties but holds down a job as a domestic/laundry assistant in a nursing home. She works 6 days a week but quite often her day off is cancelled because of someone else's holiday, sickness, etc. She doesn't know how to say anything about it or how to question it, so she often works 12 or 13 days in a row before she eventually gets a day off. Is there any legislation about this?

with out hurting their feelings. i know evey mother wants to have some say in their daughter's wedding day. but my mother wants to plan every detail. and his mother has all these ideas that are of jamaican tradition. my groom and i agree to have a beautiful yet simple untraditional wedding. please help me before i get to stress out. No, we can't elope because both of our fathers already put most of the money down to book the places we want to have the wedding and reception. I respect my mother and his mother and i know they want what's best for us, but they aren't taking any of my ideas into consideration. please give me some good advice that won't hurt anyones feelings.
