The Blue Jays are done now, and I'm looking towards the future, and it looks great. They were supposed to be build on offense, but they have a really good pitching staff now.
SP-Halladay, Burnett, Chacin, Marcum, McGowan, Litsch, who put up stellar numbers as a 22 year old(6 pitchers, a good problem to have)

They also have some great up and coming help in the pen
RP- Brandon League, Jeremy Accardo, and then throw in BJ Ryan and some stellar relief pitchers like Scott Downs and Brian Tallet.

Then the Jays got Alex Rios, Aaron Hill who are already some of the better AL players at their positions. Vernon should bounce back now that hes making $18 MILLION a year. And Adam Lind is coming up from the minors. Thigpen is the future behind the plate.

And for people who say money is the issue, please. The Jays I believe are in the upper half of the MLB in terms of payroll

I went to the dentist in 2005 and they did an extraction of my wisdom teeth. While they were doing the procedure, they kept on sticking the novacane needle in my mouth (it had to be around 5 or 6 times). After two weeks, I still didnt have all the feeling on the left side of my lower lip and chin. Two of my teeth still felt weird, like my gums were still numb. I went back to the dentist and he said that I have something called paresthesia and the feeling might not come back at all or can come back gradually over the years. Do you think that it was caused from too much novacane or damage to a nerve? And does anyone know if theres a chance that I will gain back the feeling in my chin and lip?

Why deny that you are God?

After all, it make sense.

God has to create the universe, because God is completely alone. Loneliness has driven God insane, so God imagined to be mortal and fancied some strange world right out from a divine mind.

God is in pain, so the world created is full of suffering. But God already can't stand it's own pain, so God shuts everything out by pretending to be mortal.

How can you really know the world around you is real if you're doing your best -not- to know?

So you go about a mortal life, all scared of your own end, because if you die, the universe ceases to be. But you don't want that... you don't want to die; you just don't want to be alone.

You'll never admit you're God, you don't even want to know you are!

But you can't deny it forever, can you, Oh Creator?

A lot of my houseplants have spent the summer on the front porch, and they've done beautifully. Now I need to bring them back in ... some are in their own pots, others are in mixed baskets with summer annuals that are ready for the trash heap.

Any tips on how to reacclimate the plants to the warmer indoor temperatures? Also, is there anything I should spray or wash them with to make sure they're not bringing bugs in? Should I re-pot everything first? The plants are crotons, white butterfly nephthytis, palms, and some other kind of tropical.

Any help would be appreciated ... Thank You!

anxiety problems and you jump, and have panic attacks at the slightest things?
i can't even make eye contact, im constantly nervous and anxious and are skitterish to whilst out.
it makes me feel a fool and inferior, like a weak intimidated 30 year old.
if anyone looks at me especially other males, i panic, feel uncomfortable and cant make eye contact.
this in turn leads to frustration, then anger, then aggression.
then, in the past, this has lead to outbursts of rage, because i couldnr hold my own and be confident..and feel in control.
i wish i could feel fearless, confident and in control, but this anxiety problem makes me feel at the mercy of others..afraid.

and it makes me frustrated and angry because im feeling other people make me feel this way when outside.
i try to be confident, make eye contact when out, but i can never do it.
i have a history of being bullied, attacked and victimised in the past, growing up in adolecance.
has anyone got any advice on what i can do?

my 4yo paint had surgery for sand colic at christmas. he eats grain out of a raised bucket and hay off of a rubber matt. he gets sand clear every month, alfalfa every night and corn oil in his feed. he has constant access to very clean water. i am worried about his turnout though, it is very sandy in my area and although his pasture has good grass cover, i'm still worried he is picking sand up when he grazes so i only turn him out a fewa times a week. he gets worked for 1 hour 6 days a week and is in great condition. anything else i can be doing so we don't have to put him through this again?

About 15 years ago, I built a very large shelving unit from wood I got at a local timber yard. At first it was used to house books and videos ... then my Dad's car collection .... then it was moved into our cold cupboard and held our tinned goods. Now it's in my bedroom with books on it ... still going strong. I'm so proud of it.

As we know, back in the Roman days the only people who were "crusified" were the theifs, crooks, murderers and people who broke the law... now regardless of what 'breaking the law' meant to the Romans at that time, and trying to understand the true meaning of the word "GOD", why would God choose to 'die' on a cross (or in other words, be crusified) in the same way thieves and murderers were killed???

This has been bothering me for a long time, so I hope I'll get some serious answers.

this world would never end up like 1984(the book). the middle class in many countries has grown too large. Plus, George Orwell intended the book as a warning, not a prediction or prophecy. We would really have to have grown mindless to succumb to propoganda. Plus, the liberal population has grown too lage to accept something like that.

Why is it us who are here? Why was I specifically born and not someone else? Same with you... Just chance or were we meant to be here? And why be here if we die and remember nothing anyway? Thats to say if there is no afterlife.

Suppose you're on a plane and there's 2 empty seats left and 2 passengers walking down the jetway. One empty seat is next to yours. Both are large men, one is a big fat man about 350lbs, and the other is a big muscular professional athlete, about the same dimensions as the fat guy, but all muscle. Which one would you prefer sat next to you?

Would you be ok if the guy was taking up too much room but was in shape, versus the fat guy? Does your opinion differ if you're a guy versus a girl?
