You could have a urinary tract infection. Holding your bladder for too long can cause this. See your doctor and s/he will run some tests so that s/he can give you a definitive answer and prognosis.

Sounds like a bladder infection. And yes, you are more prone to these type of infections when you "hold it." You really should go to a doctor for an initial diagnosis if you've never had a bladder infection before - they can give you antibiotics to clear it up. Often, when you've had a bladder infection in the past and know what it is, you can simply call your doctor the next time you get one and they will go ahead and give you a prescription. Alternately, drinking cranberry juice is very beneficial for the urinary tract and will often clear up a small bladder infection (if you don't like the juice, you can get cranberry pills in the section of a pharmacy or store where they keep the vitamins). Make certain if you're drinking the juice to get a juice without high-fructose corn syrup (the Dole 100% juices are good). And drink plenty of water. It will make you need to go to the restroom a lot at first, but it will keep things working as they should.

It does sound like a UTI. It's just starting so you need to get some fiber in your system to stop yourself from peeing everything out. When I got one I was low in sodium and I had flushed out all my fluid. By the time I realized it, I was pushing and striving every time I went to the toilet. But there was nothing left.
I called a health food store and I asked him, "What can I do?" He said get some fiber in your system. Get some bran cereal, eat a nice healthy green salad (with plenty of vegetables). The fiber will absorb the fluid and get you to slow down and the vegetables would replenish your system. The less frequently you go, the better you will feel. If you can't get yourself to slow down, you'll push blood and you don't want that.
I would recommend getting some orange juice, but until you get something to absorb your water, it will just flush out the other end. The same with cranberry juice. It might help prevent infection but it's not going to do much if you can't retain it.
I had this problem and I got some bran cereal and worked almost instantly. Now if I start to pee too much and I get that burning sensation, I eat a salad and the problem is solved. I have never had to see a doctor and I have bought no pills.
You need to do something soon before it gets any worse.I hope this works for you. Good Luck!

You may have Cystitis or Urinary Tract Infection is an infection in the urine which causes the bladder to become raw and inflamed. If you don't treat it,the infection may spread in to the kidneys.Women may suffer from this at LEAST ones in their life.
You may want to try drinking alot of water, try to avoid caffeine, and alcohol. Also drinking cranberry juice can prevent infections by reducing the number of bacteria in your bladder. It is important to go to a doctor if in a couple of days u still have this problem and if symptoms are not settling promptly.

Do you also have a frequent urge to go to the bathroom? That may also be a symptom of UTI (urinary tract infection).
You need to have a test taken -usually a sample of urine.. it's not bad- in order to diagnose it.
It's not serious but very annoying and you need to have it treated. They will prescribe an antibacterial drug. It will be cured in a couple of days if there's not another disorder.
You must be careful because this type of infection is usually recurrent..

That sounds like UTI, bacteria is building up because you store your pee for a long time. It is treatable, drink lots of water, or cranberry juice/pills, but make sure with your doctor first.
