What makes me laugh THE most are un-contained, un- contrived, spontaneous moments of true laughter. When there is no prospect of such an occurrence, somehow the hand of serendipity strikes and laughter ensues.
For example:
I was moving into my new house and as I watched my movers scramble up the gang plank to load the truck, I KNEW there was something "amiss". Somewhat long story short, before I could say 9-1-1-, three fire trucks & one ambulance arrived on the scene. Once we knew all was "Okay", the lead EMT guy looked me directly in the eye and asked, "Sooooooo. How's the move going so far?" Naturally, I knew that the coast was clear for me to release my un-contrived, spontaneous laughter....
My episodes of uncontrollable laughter were flanked by such events as inadvertently driving through the car wash with the PASSENGER window open while I still had my seat belt fastened, sleeping in for a flight and attempting to hone in on the next outbound flight (using my classic line, "But there's only ONE of me"), also sleeping in for my "Kick-@$$ garage sale and opening my front door clad only in a housecoat to a very large group of expectant people, my sister-in-law losing her towel (the only thing she was wearing at the time) as she placed her luggage outside the resort room at precisely the same moment an incoming CROWD of men walked by, or just day to day reparteee at the office, such as me SMOKING in my office while accidentally pushing the intercom button. I think I used the word, "Moron" maybe three times before I went to answer an incoming call only to notice there were TWO lit lines.... this after the entire plant and office heard my rant.
Then there was the time, perhaps 4 years ago, when my sister-in-law and I, she now like me a "merry widow" and alone for New Year's Eve, decided, "Damn it. Let's go out anyway". New Year's Eve is always a time for couples and feeling uncomfortable in the dining room of a very "posh" hotel, we decided to venture up to the mezzanine. Wouldn't you know it, but when we arrived there, we "suddenly" became part of a very elaborate wedding party with h'ors d'oevres and copious amounts of wine. Already a bit tipsy, we decided to join in on the fun, and so me (the more adventurous one) moved closer to the music and dancing. "Suddenly" I was asked to dance. So I did. After some very small 'small talk', he asked, "Are you a friend of the bride or the groom?" Feeling brave (and a little more tipsy), and thinking I should make this like an episode of Seinfeld, in true George Costanza fashion, replied "The groom". After all, in a large wedding what are the chances that the groom will come by this small corner and ask for details of how I know him? After a series of questions, all answered by me in perfect "George" character the groom DID come by and say hello to me and my dance partner. "Hey, used to work with you! my dance partner offered. Still refusing to "fold", I answered all questions as I imagined anyone on an episode of Seinfeld would do... And so some time before "The Wedding Crashers" hit the big screen, I'd already lived it. How embarrassing (but fun none the less).
I won't mention my stories of "A beetle visits the hospital", "A bus stop proposal", or the "Are you a stewardess and will you come to the Paul Simon Concert with me?"
SO! To answer your question, it is the humour in everyday life which cracks me up the most. I even laughed while typing this to you.
I don't mind if this isn't picked as BA - it's been a 'hoot' reminding myself of life's unexpected funny moments. So really, I do believe I owe YOU the 10 points for asking.
:D.

The Jamie Kennedy Experiment. I can honestly say it is the only show that I've laughed out loud to. Unreal how reality TV got that knocked off the air!!

Children's laughter. I never know what event or moment will trigger a spontaneous laugh from a child but it always delights me to witness it.
