this has been going on for about 8 years...long story short:she let my daughter fall into a pile of burning leaves causeing 3rd and 2nd degree burns/now scars. that was when my daughter was 15 months old! i didnt let the grandma see her for 2 years until my husband and i got back together and was kinda forced. so she always does stupid stuff that i fight with her about..smoking around the kids, taking them swimming without permission...then i found out a few weeks ago that she LOST our 4 year old son at wal-mart!! she didnt tell me, i heard it from him. then last weekend she let my daughter make brownies by herself and my daughter got ANOTHER 2nd degree burn right by the other scars. my husband agrees with me right now about her not being able to see them w/out one of us there, but he always gives in. how do i get him to realize that it isn't okay, even though it's his mom??

We have several large bottles of alcohol-vodka, tequila, rum, whiskey, etc... Some have been opened but closed up, and others are still sealed-what is the shelf life? Do they go bad? We have had them all for about 5-6 years.

I'm young, growing out of some demographics I guess (just turned 31). I flip through the news channels, read the paper when it's around and read articles online.

When I find something interesting in the news, I look it up online and find the same article, word for word in several places, sometimes with a little variation. If this is the difference in news for the young and old, I see no difference.

I have several problems with the news. Local tv news is laughable no matter where you are. Local news anchors are completely fake. The stories they cover are ridiculous sometimes. In general, all formats of the news are just headlines with no story. Follow ups are rare, even with very interesting, unusual stories.

Anyone have suggestions for credible online news sources that might have something different to say? Where is a good place to find a discussion on news, current events and maybe find some updates?

Yesterday I had to format my whole computer system, some virus was blocking Internet explorer to open. I have AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 installed on my comp.Earlier I had Norton Antivirus installed but it slowed down the performance of my computer. From yesterday onwards I have been scanning my comp every time I exit internet explorer. Everytime it shows a list of cookies tagged as "medium risk" ? What r these cookies ?? I have some idea but not sure ??

Plz someone give me some tips to avoid viruses in future ??????

Hi there

I have been working night more than a year now and I'm not getting use to it.... (sleeping problem and really tired during my shift) and i started university this fall.... and IM SO TIRED and totally lost... I need you to help me... I have to reshedual my life to have a better one...
I cant give up work or school...
This monday i'm gonna share a room in the residence of my university .
I'm really far from my family and im a solitary person... so i dependant on no one... except school and work :p

I ready to try EVERYTHING!!!

Sunday: Work 11pm to 7am
Monday: Work 11pm to 7am
Tuesday: Class 7:15pm to 22:15pm -- Work 11pm to 7am
Wednesday: Class 8:30am to 11:45am -- Class 7:15pm to 22:15pm
Tuesday: Class 8:00am to 11:45 am -- Work 11pm to 7am
Friday: OFF
Saturday: OFF

you just wish that the past few years you went away when given the chance to get on that plane,car,etc but yet you stayed behide to fullfill the promise you made even if it destoryed you and in the end you find out you were lied to and their promiss was a promiss made of lies..my spelling is bad i know but please anwser this qustion it is becoming a matter of depression..its even more of a shame when the one most hurt and most used and broken has to stand and please so many others when he/she themsleves need it the most no matter where i go now i cant leave behide the past of lies i had to deal with..i have to stand and not show any sign of pain or i will be put down..give me advice please?

For my theatre/English class for an online class for college I had to read plays and literature from Ancient Greece and Rome and other periods. What I noticed was that beautiful and handsome was used interchangeably between the sexes. There was a part where a woman's features were handsome and beautiful for man. But these were compliments, therefore, it seems that both meant good looking and weren't specific in the type of good looks. So it made me wonder what caused these terms to be associated as we do in modern times. For example, we associate beautiful with soft delicate, pretty, elegant features, therefore, this can be used for men, but mostly it's associated with women, since these adjectives sound feminine. And handsome is associated with good looks with symmetry, but stunning and attractive in a bolder way, or sublime beauty I guess. Since men have more prominent features, this term associates best with men and masculinity.

I'm in the 6th grade... I mean, I'm really focused on studies, friends that's all. Then, these made my life a hell.

This guy who's really annoying did these. My best friend Katte knows my Friendster PASSWORD and also my other best friend Angel. Katte has a secret notebook which she writes all important things that we shouldn't forget. Then, this guy saw this secret notebook where my password is and ruined my Friendster Account. And this guy changed the Email Address and Password of my friendster. I don't know how to retrieve them. He makes my image to my friends bad by putting bad things in my account.

he says how much he loves me more than anything & how precious i am to him, wants me to have his kids & get married but the actions are : hides his phone, so i do too, he doesnt answer half the time, the the last girl he dated when we broke up in january lives 4miles away from him & his friends say he wants his cake & eat it too... Why is he playing mind games with me? he said he loves me so much. we see each other once a week, @my house, he stays over which includes sex, but we're not an official couple. We havn't been in public in 9 months. Why does he do this to me? Im still in love w him but i know i should cut him out of my life. He blames me for staying away from me so much because of the mean words( which are accusations of being w the other girl, Lindsey) He blames me for everything. How can i be stronger and just ignore this craziness. (it's actually worse than words can describe.)

The end of my initial lease term is at the end of october. I absolutely must leave the apartment at the end of that month... seeing as how i have plans to leave the country. I may have signed a written notification, i don't remember. If i didn't, however, is there any way to avoid the extra 2 months of payment???? It seems ridiculous in a way.

Specifically, resident agrees to provide at least 60 days' written notice before the end of the initial lease term in order to terminate this lease at the end of the initial term. Without 60 days' prior written notice, then this agreement will be extended for 60 days from the end of the initial term with all terms remaining the same."
