I'm planning on joining the Army sometime next year. I have mild Pectus Excavatum, could that disqualify me?

You have a sunken chest cavity and you want to join the army?

I would think that you would have to be medically cleared before the army could accept you even if it is only a mild case.

Joining the armed forces is noble. i guess you're really decided to be one. you should have your condition checked by your physician or better yet if you knew a military doctor to know how mild your condition is. coz that condition could have an effect on your internal organs like the heart and lungs.. anyway goodluck!!!
