I am a las vegas local who is drawing a complete blank. I am starting a volunteer group and have our intro meeting in October. I need a semi-central place, with a good vibe. A coffee house, lounge...something along those lines. I need a laid back casual kind of atmosphere......any ideas?

A few years ago, there was an L.L. Bean commercial, it had a guy come into a stadium wearing a blue down vest, while everyone else was wearing orange. When everyone looks at him, he take the vest off and reveals its reversible, and the other side is orange. Can you help me find this commercial, and the vest from the commercial, thanks.

I have a 42" rear projection, hi-def, akai tv. About a year ago I noticed faint "shadows" of lines on both sides of the screen, exactly where the low def picture borders begin. The shadows are not visible on low- def, only hi-def. I've gone from DISH network to DTV and they remain, so its not the signal. Is it time to call a tv repairman? The tv is about 3 years old.

In order to replace two people who resigned, I must fill out two forms, forward to my boss for approval, she forwards to her boss, & she forwards to VP for approval.

I completed the forms and emailed them to my boss with, "For your approval". My boss read it but never approved them (she just forgot I guess). This was in mid August.

Her boss now asks her whats the hold up. She, in turn, asks me why hadn't I started the process. I told her (my direct boss) that I did and re-sent her the original emails as proof.

She now wants me to start new forms before she approves and forwards to her boss. (She's trying to hide from her boss that she dropped the ball. She wants her boss to think that it was me who dropped the ball.). I re-emailed the original emails twice and she refuses to use the original forms. Gave me direct/clear order to re-do the forms. I'm tired of taking the blame for her screw ups. Pls offer suggestions.

I have a row of plastic pinwheels in my garden, six are 6 to 8 inches big and three are 10 to 12 inches big. When the wind blows and all the pinwheels are spinning, why do the small pinwheels spin counterclockwise and the big pinwheels spin clockwise? Does it have anything to do with the size of the pinwheels?

now you have your OWN DNA.

ok i get this but if you have 50% from your mom and 50% from your dad how can you look more like your dad then your mom?


Also i look chineese and have chinese type hair and a chineese nose[wide] my chineese ancestor was my great great grandpa, but if you get so little from your grandparents alone then how come i got so much genes from my great great grandparent.

my dad looks nothing chineese and my his mom looks a little chineese.

Im 3rd generation german, 3rd generation chineese, 3rd generation french and 2nd spain.

i have brown/black hair im 4ft 11 and im 13
im light brown{was pale white when i was born}

i just want to know why i got so much genes from my dad side?? enough that people actually think im somewere from asia its either they think im white, asian or spanish is the first things they ask me and its annoying.
