I take my fitness health and diet very seriously, I try to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables every day and I buy fresh wherever possible but sometimes frozen vegetables are more convenient because they have a longer shelf life and I can buy them in bulk and not have to go shopping every 2-3 days.
My 2 weightlifting buddies who are also very diet concious disagree on which one is the most nutitios in terms of vitamins and fibre and other good things.
One of them insists that frozen is better because the vitamins etc are "locked in" by the freezing process...effectively keeping the food fresher than something that hasnt been frozen....my other friend insists that the oposite is true.
Any thoughts on this?

The questions asks "For what launch angle will the height and range of a projectile be equal?" I have spent over 2 hours trying to figure this question out, and the furhest I have been able to get is cos (x) = (-.5)/(v-initial)

This is at the end of the dude's nidan test. The test is 2 hours long and then he has to show technical skill against random attacks though not in a full contact manner of course. I recorded the vid and he did pass the test.

The test itself is essentially a formality because of the many pre-tests but it is not a cakewalk.

Last spring my parents had a small family get-together (just siblings). Near suppertime, we had decided to use paper plates, but my brother (who has small health issues) decided that he wanted a full spread, so he went and set the table with all the fixings and trimmings. Then, totally out of the blue, he called me a dirty little c***s****r for not helping him set the table. I was so totally stunned and heartbroken that I left without saying another word. Two weeks later my mother calls me and blames me for ruining the supper, because I shouldn't have left. She claims I have a bad attitude and I should have just forgave my brother. Well, its been several months and I thought that was all water under the bridge, but now with the holidays coming up, my mom does not want a family get-together again because of my 'bad attitude.' I don't know how to feel about this. Did I over-react in the first place? Is there something I can do to make this all better?

This question is a repost of sorts, I have received some great feedback and I am looking for more. Here is the situation; I am a 33 year divorced father of 2 boys (ages 4 & 6) I have been raising them mostly on my own as my "baby mama" is a nut job. I was lucky enough to meet and fall in love with a wonderful woman. I had no intentions on looking for love after my divorce, I just wanted to be a daddy, but when you aren't looking love finds you. Anyway... We have been together for about a year and a half now and have only a few issues in our relationship. Most of them are the common everyday problems that arise in all relationships, we take great pride in our ability to communicate our concerns and solve the issues quickly.

The big one, a possible deal breaker is this: I have been very wishy washy when it comes to the number of children we would have if we were to marry. She has none of her own and at first I wanted no more. It caused us to split and she moved out of my house.

This is the first dresser that I have built. The drawers are meant to close on rollers like kitchen cabinets do. I built a box first and then have a drawer face that I want to attach to that box, but the drawer doesnt close squarely. How do I fix this so that the drawer will close and the drawer face will be flush to the dresser frame?

I have been asked by my home group to give testimony about God, and I wanted to speak on the subject of answered prayer. I can give accounts of the way God answers prayer from my own experience, but would like to draw from scripture as well, which is more important. Does anyone have any good Bible quotations on the subject of how God answers prayer please?

So saith Buddha. Do you agree?
What do you think he meant? Maybe he was like the Stoic Marcus Aurelius, when he said that we can't control what happens to us, but we can control how we react.

When thier republican congress grew government larger than ever and the Dems have held pretty good to thier promise. Citizens Against Government Waste, in its annual "Congressional Pig Book," released this week, reports $13.2 billion in pork-barrel spending for the current fiscal year, down from $29 billion in 2006
In other words the Dems have already halfed earmark spending, truth kicks your backside doesn't it cons.
