How could Churchill and Roosevelt betray and backstab all of eastern europe especially Poland, who was responsible for dozens upon dozens of kills during the Battle of Britian not to mention Monte Cassino, the Home Army, cracking the German Enigma Code, Operation Market Garden, and the Falaise Pocket including several other Polish contributations. But once the war was over the western allies let Stalin do whatever he pleased to Poland. How could you respect these men?

There is always that person that you don't want to claim... that person who always screws up the interviews with pundits and makes your party look terrible...

I would say Al Sharpton or Geraldo Rivera would be my top picks... they get paid by Fox to represent "the liberal agenda" and most democrats just wish they'd shut up, I think.

Im never good at remembering holidays becouse i never remember what day they r 4 so if some 1 could post lyk a calender or something that shows a list of catholic holidays 4 2008 that would be most helpful ! :)

I need help with my surround sound. I want to hear my regular tv through my surround sound speakers but they dont work. If I use my dvd player they work, but not my regular tv. I dont have cable. I have rabbit ears. I have an hdmi cord that connects my home theater receiver with my tv. The guy at the store said it took care of audio and video signals. The tv is a sony bravia 40s3000 and I have a sony dvd home theatre system dvd hdx500. Its really driving me crazy. It should be simple since they are from the same company shouldnt it? I set the function to tv on the receiver and set the hdmi on the tv and it just goes silent. Does anyone no what the problem could be?

I've been here all of 2 wks & have NO idea WTH's the problem. Paid $1660 & moved into an apt on 9/7 (rent is $600/mth so paid $600 sec dep, $460 prorated Sept rent, $600 last mth rent) A wk after I moved in, I rec'd a mailed copy of my lease, looked ev'thing over, appeared OK. On 9/15, I rec'd a statement from Property Mgmt saying that I need to pay the $600 for Oct rent to avoid more late fees & possible legal action. Yesterday, in the sliding door, I found a 3-day notice (left 9/21) to leave premises, in essence saying that I am to leave on/before 9/25 for non-payment of rent for Oct. 1. So of course, I pull out the lease again to see if there's ANYTHING on it stating that I still owed $600 for rent for next month. THAT's when I noticed they applied the $600 last mth's rent to AUG (as in..LAST MTH, but that's not right, is it?? ) I didn't even sign the lease til 8/25, so why charge me full PREV month. Also, the statement has my apt # as 80B, but it's 78. Do I need an attorney?

I am getting married in May, I thought it would be a nice project to take pics of my fiance growing up then me growing up and then us dating, engaged, wedding, and make a video. Then as time goes on add in anniversaries and the first home we purchase and r children etc etc etc. so that at the end of r lives together we will have something to leave behind for r children grandchildren and great grandchildren to c the amazing life we had together. just a way to record all of the best moments in r lives both seperate and together. whats ur take on this?

I heard an atheist say science is logic.

Logic is subjective from person to person. So if science (logic) was ever the sole basis of morality then would there not be disputes as to what is really right? Even on basic matters.

I'm sorry but as much as I love mankind I would not trust them alone to make a unanimous and righteous definition of morality without the aid of (even minimal) divine guidance. In fact, it would be impossible.

Am I right? Please, no smart a** answers to dodge my question. Would like some real answers.

Title: Bean Bag Isotopes (Relative Abundance and Atomic Mass)

Procedure:
1. “Sort the atoms in the ‘bean bag’ element sample (Bg) into three isotope groups (1,2, and 3) according to the type of bean. (Assume that each type of bean represents a different isotope and that each bean represents a separate atom.) Place each isotope group into a separate weighing dish or small cup.”

2. “Count and record the number of Bg atoms in each isotope group.”

3. “Measure the total mass of Bg atoms belonging to each isotope group. Record each mass to the nearest 0.01 g in the data table. Note: Zero (tare) the balance with and empty weighing dish and record the mass. Do this for each group.”

My ex is in Ca, and I'm in Tx, we are currently going to school. We keep in touch and talk everyday. We are both trying to get into the same pharmacy school for '09. We both love each other, but I want more than that. Is it silly for me to want to be in a relationship with someone if it will be long distance for awhile? he says all the libreals do is complain like "bring the troops home" when they dont relize if we wernt over there they would be over here. and when they came all they would is complain "why isnt our goverment doing anything?"
