I am getting married in May, I thought it would be a nice project to take pics of my fiance growing up then me growing up and then us dating, engaged, wedding, and make a video. Then as time goes on add in anniversaries and the first home we purchase and r children etc etc etc. so that at the end of r lives together we will have something to leave behind for r children grandchildren and great grandchildren to c the amazing life we had together. just a way to record all of the best moments in r lives both seperate and together. whats ur take on this?

I did this for my brother's wedding 15 years ago. We took all sorts of photos and old home movies and had a videographer put them together with music we'd picked. We showed it at the rehearsal dinner and it was an absolute hit, because you've got to remember, these people only know one of the ones getting married, not the other.
You could add on to it, or I would just keep making new ones.
If I were you, I would ask a family member with some talent in this area to do it for you to show at the rehearsal dinner or reception as a surprise. They'll get all the most embarrassing pictures from your friends and parents, and it'll come out best. You can always do your own later, if you don't like it enough. ;-)

It sounds like a great idea. It'll be nice to look through over the years and I'm sure your children, grandchildren, and so on will love to look through it when they're older. It's nice to have those memories presented nicely. I'm thinking of doing something similar.
Do you plan on just having pictures or writing too (stories, dates, etc)? It'll be time consuming but well worth it to have captions of what's going on.

That's very cool. I'm doing something similar..
I have saved every single e-mail we have sent each other since we met.....three years and 6089 so far with another year to go.
We aren't having kids, but I still think it will be fun to go thru and read them all 50 years from now. LOL
