what would happen if you did an experiment in which the iodine solution was placed in the baggie and the starch solution was in the beaker?

Iodine will still diffuse through the plastic bag, so the starch in the beaker will turn dark blue. Doesn't matter which is inside the bag and which is outside. Same result.
