there are a number of things, and worring will make it even later, that is unless you are pregnant... stress, depression, anxiety, diet, or other things... if you are around another female alot, your body can actually sinc with hers and that could be another reason it is late......
get a pregnancy test, just to rule that out, thats the easiest one to rule in or out!!!

okie dont worry, alot of things can cause it to stop for a while. ive had mine for 2 years now and alot of times i have missed it for once for 4 months straight. well first off did u have sex yet? you could be pregnant. another possibility is if u have started a new sport or have worked out alot. when u play soccer or something alot your body burns the fat that u need to start your period so you can miss it for about 5 months but at the end you still get it. i know i missed mine for 4 months when i started playing soccer alot. same with my friends when one started playing tennis or the other rugby. another this may be your lack of sleep or maybe you dont eat as much as before so you dont get as much fat which can delay it. but since your young your period will always be changing days until you hit a certain age. i know now im 15 and still i get it on different days

No but a late ovulation causes a late period. Ovulation comes BEFORE the period. So your cycle would look something like this Ovulation (on time) Period (on time) Ovulation (delayed) Period (delayed) And no you don't ovulate at the same time like clock work all the time. there are times when ovulation could be delayed. Especially by stress.
