Can a mother legally make her 13 year old daughter drop out of school? The daughter might be getting a job as an illustrator, so the mother wants the daughter to drop out and just work. The daughter wants to continue her education (she is in the 8th grade, and only likes drawing as a hobby).

I want to know what makes a first person shooter game (which is no different than the countless others out there) so damn good that people form a line to buy it at midnight.

I mean, it's just a standard futuristic first person shooter... who cares anymore?

I mean, COD is fun to me because it's realistic, but Halo is just you in a stupid suit going around killing aliens... Hmmm, sounds a lot like Doom doesn't it? In fact, the suit bears a striking resemblence to the Doom character.

In my opinion it is just Microsoft's rip off of Doom and isn't even as good.

She's a character: reserved, very proper, skeptical, and quiet. She's also very intelligent and brave ... her parents were killed when she was young and she and her elder brother were adopted by the villan of the story. She and her brother were both initially trained to follow in their adoptive father's footsteps (of course, he wasn't blatantly evil, so it was very subtle training) but both eventually rebelled against him. Her brother found out exactly what kind of things his adopted father was in to and was "sent away" to help with one of his fathers businesses, and was killed. Now she's trying to figure things out on her own without getting killed.

Her late brother's name was Mason; I haven't decided on a surname for them yet.

So last month, I got pulled over for wearing my seat belt under my arm. I understand completely NOW that this is illegal. Please dont explain to me how I should have known, etc. I have a mitigation hearing in one hour. I really wouldnt be so concerned about a $125 ticket, if that was the end of it I would pay it and go on with my life. However, I have a deferred speeding ticket for $280 that will appear back on my record and that I will have to pay for if I am convicted of the seatbelt violation. Now Im not trying to claim ignorance, although it may sound just like that. But honestly, I had no idea that you can get cited for wearing your seatbelt under your arm. I am short, 5'2, so since the day I got my license, I have worn my seatbelt under my arm because it digs into my neck. Since the day I got pulled over, I havent once worn my seatbelt under my arm. I have no problem following the law, but dont you think it should be made known exactly what is legal and what is not?

There's a video on the net of a guy who put on 155 t-shirts over one another at the same time, breaking a Guiness World Record and also adding 100 lbs. to his frame.

Was there someone in your life from an early age that really just drove you away from Christianity? Like a parent or an Aunt that were so extreme that you began questioning? And how old were you when you came to the conclusion(for yourself) that there was no God? That way, we could have true free will, being able to do what ever we wanted to. That way, if we chose to serve him, it would really be a choice to serve, instead of just trying to get into heaven.

Wouldn't it mean more if you could do anything god could do, but you chose to serve him anyway? Doesn't making us powerless humans kinda imply that he doesn't have the leadership ability to keep other gods in line?

I was in a hurry and opening the car door fast and I sneezed at the same time so I hit my head really hard right at the hairline above the outside corner of my eye. My eyes went black and I thought I might pass out but after 20-30 seconds it passed. I then had a weird little spell of forgetfulness (I thought I forgot my baby at home when I had actually already dropped him off). I think I am ok now but my head is really sore and I have a constant headache. Also, if I touch the bump I get dizzy. Is this normal with a goose egg or should I go to the doctor? Besides that I feel fine, just sleepy though!
