What kind of wood makes the best drift wood? How do you prepare it for you tank?

i bought a pop up camper this weekend, it was a great price that i couldnt refuse. But i dont know how to bring it home or where to put it. I live in the humboldt park are in chicago. my car can only pull 1,500 pounds and this thing is over 2,000 , i dont want to blow my transmission. How can i bring this home from one of the city suburbs? no sarcasm please.

After his days's sightseeing, an American touring Spain stopped at a local restaurant. While sipping his wine, he notice a sizzling, scrumptious-looking platter being served at the next table. Not only did it look good, but the smell was wonderful.

He asked the waiter, "What is that you just served?"

The waiter replied. "Ah senor you have excellent taste" Those are bull's bal*s from the bull fight this morning. A delicacy!"

The American, though momentarily daunted when he learned the origin of the dish said, "What the hell, I'm on vacation! Bring me an order!"

The waiter replied, "I'm so sorry, senor. There is only one serving a day since there is only one bull fight each morning. If you come early tomorrow and place your order, we will be sure to serve you this delicacy!"

The next morning the American returned and placed his order. That evening he was served the one and only special delicacy of the day.

My snake is cold! winter is just starting and i sleep in the older part of the house so it is a little colder and my dad still hasnt put in the base bords in my closet so the air from under the house is coming in my room. It is about a month and 2 weeks old and its 11 inches its a corn snake. it already eaten 4 times. it used to be about 80 to 85 in there and it has droped to 70 to 80 i have a heater under the tank one of the sticker ones. but my snake wont go on that side it is eather under its log or under the bedding on the cold side i picked it up to day (thursday) and it was freezzing i put it in my shirt for about 10 min and it was already warm i put a towl over the tank about 30min ago i havent seen an improvement. it eat on (tuesday) i dont know if all this nosece info is any help but please tell me if you have any ideas on how to keep it warm this winter.

I am a Christian...yes, tell me I am an idiot, and shower me with abusive words for all I care.
I took a class on Evolution to better understand it and...personally I still think its a amazingly stupid concept, but...to each his own.
My main question is...If every evolved from something else...how come we stopped?
How come we dont see monkeys turning into people???
How come no one has ever seen a fish become a Shark?
Did we just get to one point and say "You know what? We have evolved enough, now lets take a break"????
Everything is about faith.
You can have faith in evolution.
You can have faith in...the whole "we came from the muck and goo" story.
You can have faith in God.
You can have faith in nature.
Everyone has faith in different things. None of these "faiths" make full sense. Admit it.
In my own opinion, "God" is the only "faith" that has ever been able to answer all of my questions.

i just needed to go to school becasue working a fulltime job and going to school just is not working. So what ended up happening is they hired a new girl for me to train. See im the only one that really knows my job. So i been training her and she caught on great. Well today i went in becasue i told my co workers that i was done training and was going to get on with my life, but i found out the new girl is leaving. So which means that makes it worse for me becasue now i need to wait for them to hire someone else that i could train for my position. MY Question is should i just leave becasue i did give my notice 2 weeks ago? Or is it only right to stay and train again! Since noone there knows my job. It is getting hard on me with my school.

I am an Evangelical Christian. One of the things we get, a fruit of the Holy Spirit, is the Word of Knowledge...we get penetrating insights, which often come to us as words. It is almost like we are picking up a thought or a prayer.

Anyone have some good song recommendations and maybe even some artist recommendations? I've heard of many rock 'n' roll artists from the 50's, but I've only listened to Chuck Berry and Elvis. I want to delve in, but I have no clue where to begin.

Please, no artists from decades after the 50's. I already got enough of those and searching for new bands is easier in other decades. Songs can be from other decades as long as the artist was part of the original rock 'n' roll scene.

Ok I was confirmed a while ago but now my friend is asking me about Confirmation. She's not really that religious and she hasn't been to CCD in years, but she does want to get married in a church. I'm not sure what to tell her.

Are you allowed to get married in a church if you're not confirmed?
Are there any specific requirements you have to comply with so you can get married?

I'm mostly curious about the parts that have to do with Confirmation, 'cause it's possible she won't be able to make hers.
