When I think of Martini's, I think of elegant but simple appetizers. Here are some ideas:

1. Cavier on ice with hard cooked egg, chopped red onion
2. An elegant cheese platter with Brie, Cambozola, Manchenga, and Havarti. Garnish with crisp globe grapes and slices of kiwi and star fruit.
3. Artichoke and Crab Dip (hot) in a bread bowl
4. Individual leaves of butter lettuce with shrimp salad in each.
5. Chinese soup spoons with a curried chicken salad in each
6. Miniature pizzas with carmelized onions and fontina
7. Fresh fruit, such as watermelon, cantelope, mango strips, pineapple, strawberries, starfruit, and kiwi with a honey yogurt dip.
8. Smokies baked in mini crescent rolls
9. Puff pastry with olive tapenade and goat cheese
10. Miniature dessert bites, such as cheesecake, key lime pie, lemon tartlets, brownies, and cookies.

This site will help you with different martini recipes and recipes for food to serve. Have you seen the light up martini glasses at Party City? If your budget can afford them, they would ' light up ' your party.
