My husband and I are going to a wedding next week and have hired a babysitter for an overnight. She is 17, has been babysitting for us for a few years, and normally charges $8/hour.

She will be sitting for us from 5 on Friday until 3 on Saturday.
For 22 hours, $180 would match our normal rate, but obviously she is not going to be expected to be paid to sleep and everything.

My question is...how much do you think is reasonable for a 22-hour job for 4 kids?

I think DH's get very little respect, all the awards go to positional players like in 2005 when A-rod won the MVP over Big Papi, even though Papi had an enormous season. So who do you think is the greatest DH of all time ?

...when they discover it is not worth working just to pay the taxes to facilitate this whopper of a healthcare plan? I am speaking of those who make less than the median national income. Hillary says only those who make over $250K will be taxed, but she might as well tell us Santa Claus is real...we all know she will need tax dollars from the middle class to facilitate this monstrosity. I expect unemployment to rise if Hillary gets elected and imposes this government bomb on us.

I am 18 years of age and have been dating my girlfriend for one year. She is almost 17. We are in love for sure and have agreed that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. She just moved away to live with her real mom in a different state. We keep in touch everyday and have set up guidelines and rules. We both follow them perfectly. A few guys have "Hit" on her down there and she just blows them off and tells them she already is with the man of her dreams. I believe that she really wants to be my wife. Why? Because she said so and I want her to be. So my question is, Should I ask her to marry me? Or should I wait until she is 18? I don't want to wait because I know for a fact our love will not dwindle over time, it will just grow. So why not now?

after bringing a new baby home
I nursed my 2 week old son about 3 im the morning and i went to go pee. Instead of pulling my pants down I unhooked my nursing braw in the front like I was about to nurse my son or something and I sat down on the toilet. I realized what I was doing before I actually went pee thank goodness!!

I heard a story of this:

So most of you have heard about the Minnesota Bridge Collapse? Right? So anyways, I heard a story of the Angel who saved peoples' lives the day it happened.

As a truck driver was driving near the bridge, he suddenly heard a voice that said "Stop Driving". The truck driver kept going and ignored the voice. Suddenly the Angel stood in front of him and said, "Didn't you hear me? I said to stop driving.". Then immediately he stopped. Other people behind him started screaming saying "Why'd you stop, keep going!". As that happened, the bridge collapsed in front of them.

Anyone else hear this story? I believe that this is true, as the Religous Teacher had told me that it was.

The problem looks something like this:

Find the limit as x approaches 2 of (6-x)^(1/2) -2 divided by (3-x) ^(1/2) -1.

The problem in words is: the square root of (6-x) minus 2 divided by the square root of (3-x) minus one.

the answer should be 1/2 but i keep getting it wrong. How am i suposed to multiply it?

In order to be with you, what do you prefer? There's a lot of single men in the world. Majority of these men are nice guys. However, every woman should have a man in her life. Now, with this said, obviously majority of women prefer bad boys. What does your heart tell you honestly? It tells you to look for a bad boy or a nice guy? Should nice guys be by themselves or should they develop into bad boy types just so that they don't end up alone for the rest of their life? The reality is there, but how it's perceived is another thing. Gay men are nice guys, There are nice guys that are not gay however, do women see being a nice guy as a sign of being weak? Nice guys will never get what they want if they don't change. Change is good. However, change can be bad. If it's not really in you, I think you shouldn't change, but only if you want something in life. If it's that girl you always wanted, then so be it. I guess it's nature of the beasts, same with humans. Mark your territory male guys!
