so this question is for muslims. when you die what's the story with 72 virgins greeting you in heaven? do they serve a purpose? or are they just there to greet you?

Because, as Muhammad (MHRIH) needed men who would not hesitate to murder and plunder (and thusly enrich and empower him, as he received 1/5 of all booty, and had the ultimate say in ALL earthly matters), the “prophet” (MHRIH) needed to craft a religion that would attract the most violent, immoral, depraved low-lives around…and the allure of 72 beautiful dark-eyed women just waiting to have sex with the “faithful martyr”, regardless of what sort of evil, detestable, unprincipled desert rat he might be, would certainly appeal to the crowd he wished to attract.

No the verse is mistranslated. It is not virgins. It is handmaidens. They are servants for the Muslim women in Jinnah. No one knows what they look like. When the Muslim women die they each get 72 servants to do things for them and or help them out with things. The servants aren't for the men. That was mistranslated by sexists.
