A race car can be slowed with a constant acceleration of -11 m/s

A) If the car is going 55 m/s how many meters will it take to stop?

B) How many meters will it take to stop a car going twice as fast?


I don't understand how you can do this problem when they only give you one piece of information.

I'm not trying to get someone to do my homework for me, I just really don't know where to begin, I've never been good in applying math to science.

#1 man with a lot of money. He has a beautiful wife, whom he thinks loves him. Kids, the apple of his eye. Nice car, nice house nad everything he could ever ask for. Although, his wife does nag him alot and never seems content with all she has and the kids are a tad ungrateful.

Then there is man #2. He is poor, but has a wife who has stuck with him through the bad. Has kids, who have to wear hand-me-downs and aren't happy ever. They don''t show it, because they know that there isn't anything they can do about it. But they are pretty close and love eachother.

Which family has it all?

I was reading a confession on the www.publicdecision.com sit and I found this one in which the confessor describes how a particular situation lit a spark between him and his best friends wife and how guilty he feels about it...

Well, he did not do anything wrong, is his desiring (just desiring) his friends wife sinful enough to haunt him?

His help tells me, "He just stepped out” or they say" Call back at ** o'clock" or "He'll be back in 20 minutes".
I know the taxes due are my responsibility, but He's a PROFESSIONAL TAX PREPARER, and entered the WRONG GROSS INCOME amount when he E-filed my taxes.
His business is independent, not part of a bigger tax return business like HRblock or JacksonHewitt
First, I thought,'Well, shitapins, i gotta pay some money.'.
But he's avoiding me. I want to find out where the mistake is. Am I the only one liable for this error, or does he have to bear some responsibility too?
I've been trying him for about six months and no response.

What is this to you as a believer? Each day we follow the Lamb wherever He may lead us... Where did the Lamb go to? He died for us on the Cross. Yes:) for you and I as believers and sinners. But my real question is this. How does this matter of living a crucified life in Christ Jesus impact upon you day to day life? On your choices, tastes,preferences and dicisions. Do we truly know what it means to live in such a way? For those of us who have mercifully passed through the winepress, how can we encourage those who are being lead this way by the Lord. To live in the shadow of the Cross.. and even better yet.. to come OUT of all these experiences like our Lord did in RESURRECTION!

I'm originally from Los Angeles and built an extensive career in the retail banking industry (executive management/training) and have been met with such dismal failure in finding a decent job here in the southeastern region of Michigan. I understand the job market here is somewhat dead, however can someone PLEASE shed some light as to which resources are the best in terms of finding a solid job that pays over $15/hr or a salary of $35K and above? Are there any good companies around here that I can actually walk into, hand in my resume and meet with someone?

i'm applying to college right now. (i live with my uncle) and he is telling me that i cannot go to college, he won't let me. I wanna get out there and be independent. Do i have a right to be upset?


Oh and one more question. Could i get a full scholorship based on hardship? My dad died when i was a baby, mom got in a car accident currently in rehab for a head injury, lived wtih grandma she passed when i was in 8th grade and now i live withmy uncle. Hello I purchased two prints / posters from an arts and crafts store and the artist listed is E.C. Sullivan. both are stylistic prints regarding horses. I was hoping to find other artwork from this artist or at least something about him or her--I can't find anything in wikipedia.org, ask.com, or google.com. She's 15 years old. She doesn't crouch when she pees, and I had to put a lid over the box or she'd wet the wall. Now she wets the back of the lid and it runs down onto the floor. I put newspaper under the box, but it smells. It's disgustiing to change the box and wash the lid all the time. I have had many cats in my life, and none of them did this.

She's been doing this all her life. Is she too old to teach better habits? How would I teach her, anyway?
