i think that people are more accepted if they are 1 or the other to be honest..i think it would be less of an issue if you were gay!

they feel uncomfortable with your middle of the road stance; no one knows who you might want to befriend.

they are working through their own sexual orientation issues and you being open about takign th emiddle road causes them anxiety.

they have prejudices against anyone who is not straight.

they think you are making a big deal out of nothing and are worried about your intentions in telling them.

and probably more. And I bet each person has at least one of these reasons if not 2 or 3 rattling aroudn in their heads.

They do not sound like good work mates to me....if anything they all appear to be rather two faced. What would they be like if you didn't or hadn't mentioned you were bi....methinks that says it all.

Your work mates are clearly homophobic

They need to move into the 21st century

Its an issue simply because it is nobody's business. In general, our bedroom practices are not spoken of at work.

Would you feel comfortable if a married man started updating you on the sorts of thing he and his wife get up to in bed?

Would you want to know about a single co-workers' one-night stands?

Talking about sex at all while at work is a bad idea. Work is for business, and a personal information is not wanted there...

Look at what talking about it has done for/to you. You're uncomfortable, your co-workers are unnerved and how much actual work is getting done??

Are they other guys?

Just tell them "look, you couldn't *pay* me to sleep with you." Should clear up any worries of you hitting on them. lol
