That's a good point.
In fact, there are all kinds of people we could ban marriage for.
Terrorists. Murderers. People who write back checks. People who write good checks but forget to sign them. People who don't park between the lines.
Sanctity and all.

I fail to see what is so dangerous about Gay marriage?!
And in order to give an educated answer, you'd first have to define the concept of terrorists. After all, like someone said before me, at the moment, it's simply a person or group of persons who use violence as a way to solve seemingly social problems or to showcase a set belief system.
....why do I get the feeling from your question, that you (and the majority of anti-gay posters here) are American?? Tell me if I'm wrong...

Nothing is more dangerous than gay marriage. If we allow it to go forward, the world as we know it will collapse. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria.
Compared with the idea of boys kissing, 9/11 seems like a trifle - doesn't it?
With all the time, money and resources that certain "Christian" groups put into making sure gay people are denied rights, and with the language they use, you'd really think that's how they felt about it.

Hot damn! Youve got an excellent point here!!
See, the problem is, how do you define terrorist?? Because, if we passed that as law in America, many of the Christians who would vote for it could also be classified as terrorists... A terrorist is a person who uses a threat of violence in order to furhter a religious or political goal. Therefore, the eternal threat of Hell (violence) to further a religious goal of converting the masses can be considered a terroristic threat.

Wow- that sure is some question. I hate the terrorists- I do not believe in their cause and I think they are nuts.
I would like to think that anyone who would knowingly marry a terrorist would be brought to justice just for knowing what they did- if that makes sense. But if the said terrorist is a good liar and the person that they are marrying doesnt know- how are you to stop it? I would think once they found out- a divorce and the authorities notified would be in order.

I agree - you have tapped into a certain strain of logic however, I doubt you'll get many lawmakers to agree with you cos they can score a lot more brownie points from vilifying gays than from vilifying terr'ists cos terr'ists aren't gay and they believe in 'god' so they can't be ALL bad.
Gays on the other hand are trying to drag our youth into their gay lifestyle ... against there will, even.
(Did I manage to sound insane?)

Because entire organizations and churches have been built on homophobia. It's been turned into idolatry. Any effort in taking attention away from promoting the sin of homophobia would cost these churches and organizations millions of dollars in lost revenue. As long as they can make a buck off the misery they cause gay Americans, they aren't going to focus on anything else.

Yeah, but how would you identify a terrorist in order to prevent their nuptials? Do they have the mark of the beast on their scalp or somethin'?

Because terrorists have FAMILY VALUES and MORALS. They do what they do for God... and generally have high credit scores.
