I am of the opinion that most people just have an idea in their head of what love is, and they find someone, they don't know if they love them or not but they gotta have somebody, you know? But I believe that real love is a tangible force, and a verb rather than a noun. When you love someone, it means you truly admire them for their looks, personality, sense of humor, etc. You enjoy spending time with someone you love, and you want to be with them as much as you can. If you truly love someone for who they are, it has nothing to do with poetry or wishes or dreams. Real love is easily expressed for you act on what you feel. Love that is only words and romantic dreams is only a fog that will blow away. Want to see how many people are living on ideals and are not really in love? Look at the divorce rate.

I have one computer accessing the internet via BellSouth DSL Lite. I want to have another computer share that same DSL connection. Do I have to pay BellSouth the $5 nonthly fee as well as the charge for a networking gateway device? Can I accomplish my goal by just buying a switcher/hub from Best Buy and hooking up both computers to that? I have one ethernet card and the other computer has one built in to the motherboard. Thanks.

Of all the days that could have been chosen for christmas and easter, christians picked two Pagan holidays to celebrate these things. At the same time, they never even thought about celebrating Jewish holy days. How can you follow a Jewish "savior" by neglecting to observe the same holy days he would have observed, but instead taking up holidays of the religions Jews were warned against by their god?

Here's some info on Jewish Holy Days: http://www.jewfaq.org/holiday0.htm

Did you even know these existed? You can't say it isn't important, because if your god chose for his son to be a Jew, and he gave the Jews those holy days, then he must have thought it was pretty important.

Can anyone tell me why christianity would take a Pagan holiday and make it holy, but act as if the Jewish holy days aren't even worthy of being acknowledged?

I recenlty posted this question in another category - family and relationships - but it didn't give me any answers. I'm taking a leap with this category so hopefully you guys can!

My boyfriend and I broke up some three or four years ago and up until recently I havne't thought about him that much. But in these last few weeks, every night I dream about him. The dreams don't say much though. Then during the day, I am constantly thinking about him, trying to sort out the dreams and possible their meanings. Am I missing something? Why do I keep dreaming about someone that I haven't seen, spoken to, or even thought about that much in almost four years? Why now? Is my conscious telling me something or am I being too weird and it is just a coincidence? Help!

P.S. I am not looking to get back together with him. There are some underlying issues of why we broke up but he lives in Georgia and I am in NC so that long distance of a relationship really wouldn't go over well.

My parents have a TV with a built in DVR. I may be interested in getting one myself. I was told by a sales associate at Best Buy that this is bad, that if the DVR breaks, the TV will also be shot. Does anyone out there have an opinion on this matter?

I have no children and have never been married. Please serious replies ONLY. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Some of yu know my brother was killed in Iraq. think most of you think the deaths of soldiers is jsut a game of numbers. its NOT! it is real and each family that loses someone suffers. I don't think you understand how painful it is.

Once some is gone they are gone forever. People lose loved ones all the time. But when losing a brother or sister or parent or whatever in vain for a lie of a war. It is the worst thing ever.

You know this is preventable that is the worst thing ever. My brother didn;t have to die in vain. PArents losing their child doesnt have to happen. These are preventabl deaths. Our loved ones do not have to die.

Please they really do not have to die. LEt us save the lives of our loved ones. Please the pain every day we live with is terrible. My brother could be here a home. Or living in Kentucky in the Army. But he didn't have to die in vain.

I beg all of you to understand how painful it is and we can stop more lioves from being lost.
