All religions including atheist lead to one eventuality. You drop dead. Nothing past that has even come close to being proven. Man is no closer to understanding life now than he was millions of years ago. Now the question: Is understanding life the only thing we do not have a clue about. It is probably a fact that all has been hidden from us and we know nothing. Something about a glass darkly comes into my mind.
Some people have recommended that I read the Bible. Let's play. Reading the Bible is how i came to know that the people who wrote the Bible did not believe it.
Let's play. Go ahead quote me some scriptures like I have never heard them before.

Are there any U.S. Cities that are built on both sides of a river that have the same name, the same city and are in the same state. St. Louis doesn't count.

We ( speaking for other and I hope I do not offend ) have seen to many individuals throw there life away to a promise of a "new system" and we hope and pray that those who have been indoctrinated in the JW will see some glaring inconsistencies and take heed of some of their own doctrines "Beware false profits whose prophecies will be shown false"

The Watchtower and tract society has continued to contradict itself over the last 100 years and when challenged JW all recite the " when we discover something is wrong we change it" which itself is admirable however that precludes the ability to claim "what we say is the Truth"

It is the overwhelming evidence to the contrary of their teachings and the control they hold on their followers that we causes us to fear not for your souls ( because I do believe that you are being deceived thus you will be welcomed into heaven ) but for your mortal lives, and for those of your children that we grieve.

With the fiasco of "Northern Rock" in the UK and the prime lending furore in the US, do you not think that our whole economy is a house of cards?
Is the Stock Exchange not anything more than a glorified bookmakers?
Wasn't the the great depression caused by pumped up greed and then loss of confidence?
I'm not saying that we should go back to the barter system, but it would at least ensure a more equitable, solid system, or not?
Can't we do it any better, or must avarice always lie at the heart of an economics?

I have read the advertisement, the only thing I see wrong with it is that it is an effective communication, accounting for qwhy republicans are attacking. Yet I see nothing attacked as a lie.

To answer this question, you will have actually had to reaad the advertisement, so I'm not expecting any answers from conservatives.

Isaiah used the word Hebrew word "almah", which means young girl. This was mistranslated into the Greek as parthenos.

OT scholars have been informing Christians that they mistranslated this passage for centuries.

Why are non-Catholics afraid of these titles given to Mary, the Virgin Mother of Jesus? She was the very first Christian and the very first Disciple. She freely said "yes" to God's will and to His Word, when she could have said "No."

Had Mary said "No," Jesus would not have come down from Heaven, and thus our salvation would be in jeopardy. That is a scary thought.

These titles given to Mary are nothing to be afraid of. "For no creature could ever be counted as equal with the Incarnate Word and Redeemer. Just as the priesthood of Christ is shared in various ways both by the ministers and by the faithful, and as the one goodness of God is really communicated in different ways to His creatures, so also the unique mediation of the Redeemer does not exclude but rather gives rise to a manifold cooperation which is but a sharing in this one source." (Second Vatican Council; Chapter 8, Dogmatic Constitution of the Church; November 21, 1964)

First, I'll tell you about myself.
I'm 5 foot 4, weigh 185 pounds, my choice of clothing is seriously skewed towards shapeless shirts and pants that make me feel secure and look masculine, I am really shy, never had a boyfriend, very rarely had any friends in real life...
So I wonder, am I screwed in this life? Or do I have a chance of finding a man who is not a total looser, who appreciates me for who I am and won't look at the surface of things, that I'm fat and shy? And where would I find such man?

I ask this before but my question was misunderstood so I am asking it again because I need to know what I can do to make him leave me alone
My ex is trying to control my life.. he has a new gf but he still acts like I am his gf too I have been very clear I would never want him back and it 100% over between us... but he knows I am single and maybe this is why he thinks I still want him back or trying to make fall for him again and still show off his gf to my face all the time... if he sees me talking to someone he gets all upset and acts like he is hurt... and I has done sooooooo much to hurt me while I gave him 100% love and care and never asked anything from him but thanx god I am too strong I can still stand on my own
and I don't talk to him but his gf, him and I work at the same place and whenever he gets the chance he comes around me with his gf and tells her gf to stand away and he ask me how I am? Is it true I have found another job? He acts like he want me to find another job but then next min he acts he is glad we work together and he tries to look at me whenever possible. I can see how it makes his gf upset she looks at me with anger and hate in her eyes I was the first one to work in this company and after I helped him to get a job there cause he was jobless for yrs and now he has brought his gf 2. I don’t see why I should leave a job that pays good salary and it has good potentials

I am also not ready for another relationship... or flirting with other guys to make him jealous I wouldn’t want anyone else feeling’s to get played like main

Say I took a reading on contact with the outside of the core while it was operating and was 200R/hr. Now say the distance from the core to the hull is 30 feet and the hull is 2 feet of steel. How much exposure would a fish get in 1 minute it was 5 feet from the outside of the hull.

It's definitely something to think about! Besides him and Mo, the bullpen is terrible. They could try to use him as a starter next season, but I can't watch Bruney and the always reliable Farnsworth give up another Yankees lead in the only inning they pitch. He seems like the only lights out middle reliever on the team, and maybe the best in the AL.
