Celery. It has a negative calorie balance. It takes more calories to eat and digest celery than celery itself provides.

Fuits, fruit smoothies, just use low cal yoghurt or skimmed milk... If you would like to sweeten something, use splenda. Edamame are also excellent low cal, nutricious snacks. Any veggie is good also. Clear soups, lean fish such as tilapia, mahi mahi and snapper are low in fat and packed with proteins, sugar free puddings, low fat yoghurt, salads with no creamy dressings and pulses such as lentils, beans and chickpeas are also highly nutricious and lower calorie.

I am on a diet and alot of the time I eat tuna in water with no condiments or seasoning and about a cup of baby carrots. It is yummy, low calorie, packed with protein and no fat!

Think sugar. That is calories. Alot of the foods processed have added sugar. Go more natural foods(potatoes, veges, and meat) just like mom's cooking. The more natural it is, the better.

Most veggies are low in calories if you leave off butter and such. Eat them raw or steam them and add spices instead of butter/margarine.

Popsicles and italian ice and jello better yet sugar free jello and sugar free/fat free puddings either instant or cooked and lite cool whip.

Celery actually has negative calories. It takes more calories to consume it than it has in it. Cucumbers, carrots, fresh fruit, light yogurt are also good.
